Overview

When a stuffy nose makes nasal masks useless, a full face mask keeps your therapy working, and the F&P Simplus is one of the easiest to live with. Its RollFit cushion rolls along the bridge of your nose as you move, so the seal holds without you cranking the straps tight.

The headgear settles high on the back of your head and stays put when you turn, and the built-in diffuser keeps the air quiet for whoever sleeps next to you. We pair it with the React Health G3 X, an auto-adjusting machine that sets your pressure for you, humidifier included.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Fit the Simplus lying down in your usual sleep position. The RollFit cushion adjusts under therapy pressure, so let the machine reach your working pressure before judging whether the seal feels right.
  • Start with headgear on the looser end of the adjustment range. The RollFit seal is designed to seat itself, and overtightening the headgear compresses the cushion and can actually cause more leaks, not fewer.
  • If you wake with a red mark on the nose bridge, try loosening the headgear slightly before you try a different size. The RollFit is designed to reduce that pressure, and a tighter fit is often the cause, not the solution.
  • If you have nasal congestion that changes night to night, the Simplus full face design continues to deliver therapy through your mouth even when your nose is blocked, so you do not need to switch masks for allergy or cold seasons.
  • The Easy Clip frame snaps off the cushion for washing. Detach it before cleaning to get soap and water into the cushion folds, then clip it back on firmly before putting the mask on.
  • Rinse the cushion, frame, headgear, elbow, and swivel daily with warm water and mild soap. Let all parts air dry completely before reassembling. Do not put any Simplus components in the dishwasher.
  • Replace the RollFit cushion approximately every 3 months, or sooner if you notice persistent leaks after refitting, visible silicone softening, or a loss of seal firmness. Replacement cushions are sold separately.
  • The rotating elbow and swivel let the hose turn as you shift positions. Route the hose over your head rather than along the side of your face to get the most benefit from the rotation and reduce the pull on the mask.
  • The F&P myMask app offers cushion sizing guidance based on your facial measurements. If you are between sizes or trying the Simplus for the first time, use the app or order the Fit Pack to try multiple sizes at home.
  • Use distilled water only in the humidifier, and clean with approved CPAP cleaning supplies (avoid ozone cleaners, which void the warranty).
  • Replace the reusable air filter about every 6 months, and the optional ultra-fine filter about every 2 weeks.

Product Features

Foam-Free, One Less Worry

If the recent foam recalls left you wary, the G3 X is built without the internal sound-abatement foam, and React Health introduces it as the first standard-size foam-free PAP available in the U.S. It still runs quietly, around 28 dB(A) per the manufacturer, so it is easy to sleep next to.

Pressure That Adjusts to You

You should not have to think about pressure settings. In auto mode, the Smart A feature reads your breathing over several nights and fine-tunes your range, so therapy stays comfortable as your needs change. Prefer a set pressure? It runs in fixed CPAP mode too.

Comfort Built In: Humidifier and Heated Tubing

Dry air is one of the most common reasons people give up on CPAP. This G4600 includes the integrated heated humidifier and heated tubing, so the air reaches you warm and you see less water buildup (rainout) in the hose. Use distilled water to keep the chamber clean.

A Seal That Adjusts With You Instead of Fighting You

The RollFit cushion rolls on the bridge of your nose as you shift positions during the night, re-seating itself each time. Because the cushion moves with your face, you do not have to overtighten the headgear to keep it in place, which means fewer pressure marks and a more comfortable morning.

Headgear That Stays Put No Matter How You Sleep

ErgoForm headgear anchors high on the back of your head, where stretch and non-stretch panels keep it stable through side-to-side and forward movement. You can turn freely during the night without the headgear slipping down and pulling the mask loose.

Full Coverage for Mouth Breathers and Congestion Seasons

The Simplus covers both nose and mouth, so therapy continues even when your nose is blocked from allergies, a cold, or just the way you naturally breathe at night. If nasal masks have ever failed you because of congestion or mouth breathing, this is the coverage that keeps therapy consistent.

No Magnets, Safe for Anyone With an Implant

The Simplus has no magnets anywhere in its frame, cushion, or headgear. The precautions that apply to magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, or other implanted devices do not apply here. Confirm with your cardiologist before starting therapy.

Breathe Quietly So Your Partner Can Sleep Too

The Advanced Air Diffuser is built directly into the RollFit cushion, redirecting exhaled air so it does not blow toward a bed partner. There are no separate vent pieces to lose or clean separately; the diffuser comes with the cushion.

No Foam Means No Worry About Foam Breaking Down

The G3 X removes the internal sound-abatement foam from the air path entirely. You get the comfort and quiet of a full-sized machine without the concern that was associated with foam degradation in certain older CPAP devices.

Pressure That Adjusts to How Well You Slept

The Smart A algorithm tracks your recent therapy and fine-tunes your pressure over time, so you are getting the right support for tonight rather than a pressure set months ago at a single sleep study.

Warm, Humid Air From the First Breath

Built-in heated humidification and heated tubing deliver warm air from the start of the night, reducing the dryness and irritation that make it hard to stay on therapy. No separate humidifier to attach or carry.

Therapy Tracking That Happens Without Wi-Fi or Setup

The G3 X sends your data automatically over built-in 4G each morning. Your care team can see your progress, and you can check it in the patient app or on-device display, with no network passwords to enter.

FAQs

How does the RollFit cushion work, and why does it help with the nose bridge?

The RollFit is a one-piece cushion that literally rolls on the bridge of the nose as your head shifts during sleep. Instead of a static seal that requires tight headgear to stay put, the cushion moves with you and re-seats automatically. That rolling action distributes contact more evenly and reduces the localized pressure on the nose bridge that causes soreness with traditional full face cushions.

Which Simplus cushion size do I need?

The Simplus comes in Small, Medium, and Large cushions. If you are unsure of your size, order the Fit Pack, which includes multiple cushion sizes so you can try each at home. Headgear comes in Small and Medium-Large. The F&P myMask app also offers sizing guidance based on facial measurements before you order.

Is the Simplus a good fit if I breathe through my mouth at night?

Yes. The Simplus is a full face mask that covers both the nose and mouth, so mouth breathing during the night does not break the seal or reduce therapy effectiveness. It is a good choice for people who breathe through their mouth consistently, have frequent nasal congestion, or have struggled to keep a nasal-only mask sealed.

Is the Simplus safe if I have a pacemaker or implanted device?

Yes. The Simplus contains no magnets in any part of its assembly. The FDA precautionary guidance about magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and similar devices does not apply to this mask. Confirm with your cardiologist before starting therapy.

What does the Advanced Air Diffuser do, and do I need to replace it?

The Advanced Air Diffuser is built into the RollFit cushion and redirects exhaled air to minimize noise and draft from exhalation. Because it is part of the cushion rather than a separate add-on, you replace it on the same schedule as the cushion itself. Follow the replacement guidance in the Simplus use and care guide.

How do I clean the Simplus, and how often do I replace the cushion?

Rinse the cushion, frame, headgear, elbow, and swivel daily with warm water and mild soap, then air dry before reassembling. The RollFit cushion should be replaced approximately every 3 months under regular use. Visible wear, softening of the silicone, or persistent leaks after refitting are all signs a replacement is due. Replacement cushions are sold separately.

What comes in the Simplus box?

The Simplus ships with the frame, RollFit cushion (in your chosen size), rotating elbow, swivel, ErgoForm headgear (in your chosen headgear size), 2 headgear clips, and buckle. Additional cushion sizes require a separate Fit Pack order.

Can people with beards or sensitive skin use the Simplus?

It depends on beard density. The RollFit cushion seals against the face, so a very thick beard around the mouth or chin area can make it harder to maintain a seal. A light to moderate beard is workable for many users. If you have sensitive skin, the silicone cushion is generally well-tolerated, though the fit and tightness of headgear matter more than the material for skin comfort.

Do I need a prescription, and is the bundle FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes to both. The G3 X is a prescription device, so a valid Rx is required, and the bundle is FSA and HSA eligible. If your prescription has lapsed, we can help eligible U.S. residents renew it.

What warranty comes with the bundle, and can I fly with it?

The React Health G3 X carries a 5-year machine warranty, and the mask carries the 90-day Fisher and Paykel mask warranty, so the two are covered separately. The G3 X also meets FAA requirements (RTCA DO-160) for use during all phases of flight.

What does foam-free mean, and does the machine need Wi-Fi?

Foam-free means the G3 X has no internal sound-abatement foam in the air path. The user-replaceable intake filter is a separate part. The machine shares data over a built-in 4G cellular modem, so no Wi-Fi setup is needed.
