Important Tips

  • Always pair your ClimateLineAir heated tube with a compatible humidifier to take full advantage of the Climate Control system.
  • Use only distilled water in your humidifier to prevent mineral buildup inside the tube.
  • To prevent moisture-related issues and prolong tube life, consider using CPAP tubing covers, which also improve comfort during the night.
  • Clean your heated tube weekly with a gentle soap and warm water—never use harsh chemicals.
  • Use a CPAP cleaning brush to reach inside the tubing and remove any buildup.
  • Dry the tube completely before reconnecting it to avoid mold or bacteria growth inside.
  • Replace your heated tube every 3 to 6 months, or sooner if you notice discoloration or cracking—check the part finderfor easy replacements.
  • To sanitize your tube and CPAP gear regularly, use a CPAP cleaning machine that targets bacteria and moisture.
  • Make sure the tube is firmly connected to your AirSense 10 or AirCurve 10 device to maintain consistent heating.
  • For users who sleep on their side or move around a lot, pairing this tube with a CPAP pillow can help avoid pressure on the tubing.
  • Don't forget to wipe the connectors and ends of the tube regularly with CPAP mask wipes to avoid buildup.
  • If your tubing feels stiff or the heating doesn’t seem consistent, it may be time for a replacement—refer to CPAP hoses & tubing for compatible options.
  • Traveling? Be sure to pack an extra heated tube and store it in a clean, dry pouch.
  • Always unplug your CPAP machine before disconnecting the heated tube to avoid any damage to the heating elements.
  • Combine this setup with a comfortable mask—use the mask finder quiz if you're not sure which one works best for your needs.
  • For extra comfort and skin protection around the face, try adding mask liners or strap covers.
  • Want to stay on top of maintenance? Keep a stash of cleaning supplies from the CPAP cleaning collection.
  • If you experience dry skin with your therapy, use a CPAP-safe moisturizer before bed to stay comfortable.
  • ClimateLineAir tubes are device-specific—ensure you're using it only with compatible machines like AirSense 10, Lumis, or AirCurve 10 for safety and performance.

FAQs

Which machines does this heated tube fit?

It fits the ResMed AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 series (and Lumis 10). It does not fit the AirSense 11 or AirCurve 11, which use the different ClimateLineAir 11 tube, and it does not fit the AirMini, which uses its own tubing.

Do I need the humidifier for it to work?

Yes. The ClimateLineAir works together with your machine's HumidAir heated humidifier and Climate Control. Fill the humidifier with distilled water to prevent mineral buildup.

How does it prevent rainout?

A temperature sensor built into the tube lets Climate Control hold the air at a steady, comfortable temperature all the way to the mask. That prevents the condensation (rainout) you get when warm, humid air cools inside a standard hose.

What size and length is it?

It is a slim 15 mm inner-diameter tube about 6.5 feet (2 m) long, with a 360-degree swivel connection that reduces drag and tangles.

How often should I replace it?

Inspect it regularly and replace it if you see holes, tears, or cracks. Many users replace heated tubing every few months, and your insurance may allow a replacement about every 90 days.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. Like other CPAP supplies, this heated tube is sold with a valid prescription in the United States.
