Overview

The Pico keeps things small and simple for nasal breathers. Its dual-wall cushion sits at the tip of your nose without blocking your nostrils, and the compact see-through forehead support keeps the mask stable while leaving your view clear.

It comes apart into just a few pieces for easy cleaning, and it is latex-free with no magnets. We pair it with the React Health G3 X, which adjusts your pressure for you all night and comes with its heated humidifier ready to use.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Fit the Pico lying down in your usual sleep position. The headgear should feel loose and comfortable; if red marks appear on your face after a night of use, loosen the straps before your next session.
  • If you ordered the Fit Pack, test each cushion size before committing. The cushion should span the width of your nose without blocking the nostrils. The top of the cushion sits between the bridge and tip of your nose, not up against the bridge.
  • If you wake with leaks, try a different cushion size before tightening the headgear. Overtightening the Pico almost always makes leaks worse. Re-seat the cushion by pulling it gently away from your face and setting it back into place.
  • The Pico is for nasal breathers only. If you breathe through your mouth at night or wake with a dry mouth, add a chin strap to keep your mouth closed.
  • Hand-wash the frame, cushion, and elbow daily with warm water and liquid dish soap. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling. Do not use bleach, alcohol, or cleaning solutions containing conditioners or moisturizers.
  • You can run the non-fabric parts (frame, cushion, elbow) through the top shelf of the dishwasher once a week using liquid dishwasher detergent. Do not put the headgear in the dishwasher.
  • Wash the headgear weekly by hand. Lay it flat or line dry; do not put it in the dryer. Stretched headgear causes leaks and overtightening, so replace it about every six months.
  • Replace the Pico cushion approximately every six months, or sooner if you notice cracking, persistent leaks after refitting, or a visible loss of softness. Replacement cushions are sold separately in S/M, L, and XL.
  • Do not block or cover the exhalation ports on the elbow. The Pico's exhalation venting is built into the elbow, and obstructing the ports restricts the flow of exhaled air.
  • Use distilled water only in the humidifier, and clean with approved CPAP cleaning supplies (avoid ozone cleaners, which void the warranty).
  • Replace the reusable air filter about every 6 months, and the optional ultra-fine filter about every 2 weeks.

Product Features

Foam-Free, One Less Worry

If the recent foam recalls left you wary, the G3 X is built without the internal sound-abatement foam, and React Health introduces it as the first standard-size foam-free PAP available in the U.S. It still runs quietly, around 28 dB(A) per the manufacturer, so it is easy to sleep next to.

Pressure That Adjusts to You

You should not have to think about pressure settings. In auto mode, the Smart A feature reads your breathing over several nights and fine-tunes your range, so therapy stays comfortable as your needs change. Prefer a set pressure? It runs in fixed CPAP mode too.

Comfort Built In: Humidifier and Heated Tubing

Dry air is one of the most common reasons people give up on CPAP. This G4600 includes the integrated heated humidifier and heated tubing, so the air reaches you warm and you see less water buildup (rainout) in the hose. Use distilled water to keep the chamber clean.
React Health G3 X Auto-CPAP Machine with Pico Nasal Mask Bundle

The Smallest Footprint You Can Get in a Nasal Mask

The Pico dual-wall cushion sits between the bridge and tip of your nose without blocking the nostrils. A compact see-through forehead support keeps it stable while leaving your sightline wide open. It is the smallest-profile nasal mask in the Philips Respironics lineup.

Safe to Use With Pacemakers and Implanted Devices

The Pico has no magnets in its frame, headgear, or clip assembly. Fabric tabs and a turn clip hold everything in place instead of magnetic closures. The mask is also latex-free and DEHP-free. Confirm with your cardiologist for device-specific guidance before starting therapy.

Five Parts That Are Fast to Clean and Easy to Reassemble

The Pico comes apart into just five pieces: frame, cushion, headgear, clip, and elbow. The non-fabric parts can be hand-washed daily or run through the top dishwasher shelf once a week. Fewer pieces means faster reassembly each night and less to keep track of after cleaning.

Five Adjustment Points for a Personalized Fit

The headgear has five fabric tabs you can tune independently: two on the top straps, two on the bottom straps, and one crown strap. Fit it loosely at first. If you wake with red marks, the headgear is too tight, not too loose.

Venting Built Into the Elbow, Nothing Extra to Buy

Exhalation venting is integrated into the elbow assembly, so there is no separate vent device to purchase or replace. Keep the elbow ports clear each night and run the machine while wearing the mask so fresh airflow clears exhaled air properly.

Best for Nasal Breathers Who Want Less Mask on Their Face

The Pico suits side sleepers, people with beards or smaller faces, and anyone who feels confined in larger masks. Mouth breathers need a chin strap or a different mask style to keep the seal effective.

Breathe Easier with a Foam-Free Machine

No foam in the air path means no worry about foam breaking down over time the way it did in some older CPAP devices. The G3 X is the first standard-size foam-free PAP available in the U.S., and it still delivers quiet, comfortable therapy.

Pressure That Adjusts to How You Slept Last Night

The Smart A algorithm reads your recent therapy data and fine-tunes your pressure settings automatically, so your support stays calibrated to your actual needs without any manual adjustments.

Data That Syncs Without a Password

The G3 X sends your nightly numbers to the cloud over built-in 4G, so your care team and the patient app stay current without you entering a password or connecting to a network. Your data is also saved to the included SD card.

FAQs

What is the Pico cushion, and how does it fit on the nose?

The Pico uses a dual-wall silicone cushion that sits between the bridge and the tip of the nose without blocking the nostrils. It is a tube-in-front nasal mask, meaning the hose connects at the front of the frame rather than at the top of the head. A compact, see-through forehead support connects the headgear to the frame for stability throughout the night.

Which Pico cushion size do I need?

The Pico cushion comes in three sizes: Small/Medium, Large, and Extra Large. The cushion should fit the width of your nose without blocking the nostrils. If you are unsure, order the Fit Pack, which includes all three sizes so you can test each at home. One headgear size works with all three cushion sizes.

Is the Pico safe for people with pacemakers or implanted devices?

Yes. The Pico contains no magnets in any part of its assembly. The FDA precautionary guidance about magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and similar devices does not apply to this mask. Confirm with your cardiologist before starting therapy for device-specific guidance.

Can I use the Pico if I breathe through my mouth at night?

No, not without an accessory. The Pico covers only the nose, so mouth breathing breaks the seal and reduces therapy effectiveness. A chin strap can help keep your mouth closed if you occasionally breathe through your mouth. If you are a consistent mouth breather, a full-face or hybrid mask is a better fit.

Who is the Pico a good fit for?

The Pico works well for nasal breathers who want the smallest mask profile and a clear line of sight: side sleepers, people with beards, people with smaller faces, and anyone who feels claustrophobic in larger masks. It is compatible with standard CPAP machines but not the ResMed AirMini. The see-through forehead support and compact footprint make it one of the least obtrusive nasal mask options available.

How do I clean the Pico, and can I put it in the dishwasher?

Hand-wash the non-fabric parts daily in warm water with liquid dish soap, then air dry completely before use. The non-fabric parts (frame, cushion, and elbow) can also be placed on the top shelf of the dishwasher once a week using liquid dishwasher detergent. Do not put the headgear in the dishwasher. Lay fabric parts flat or line dry.

How often do I replace the Pico cushion?

Replace the cushion approximately every six months under regular use. Visible wear, cracking, persistent leaks after refitting, or loss of softness are all signs the cushion is due for replacement. Replacement cushions are sold separately in S/M, L, and XL sizes.

Is the Pico a good option for side sleepers?

Yes. The compact profile and quick-disconnect swivel elbow make the Pico well-suited for side sleeping. The swivel lets the hose rotate freely as you shift positions, reducing pull on the mask. The five adjustable headgear tabs help you achieve a secure but comfortable fit without overtightening.

Do I need a prescription, and is the bundle FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes to both. The G3 X is a prescription device, so a valid Rx is required, and the bundle is FSA and HSA eligible. If your prescription has lapsed, we can help eligible U.S. residents renew it.

What warranty comes with the bundle, and can I fly with it?

The React Health G3 X carries a 5-year machine warranty. The Pico carries the 90-day Philips manufacturer mask warranty, so the two are covered separately. The G3 X also meets FAA requirements (RTCA DO-160) for use during all phases of flight.

What does foam-free mean, and does the machine need Wi-Fi?

Foam-free means the G3 X has no internal sound-abatement foam in the air path. The user-replaceable intake filter is a separate part. The machine shares data over a built-in 4G cellular modem, so no Wi-Fi setup is needed.
