Overview

The DreamWear Silicone Pillows is for nasal breathers who want the hose off their face and the softest pillows DreamWear makes. The tube connects at the top of your head and the air runs through the frame, so you can sleep on your side or stomach and keep a clear line of sight.

The silicone pillows sit lightly at your nostrils, and if you want to change styles later, the same frame takes DreamWear nasal or full face cushions. We pair it with the React Health G3 X, an auto-adjusting machine with its heated humidifier built in for warm, steady air.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Fit the DreamWear Silicone Pillows while lying in your usual sleep position. The seal seats differently lying down than sitting up, and fitting in your actual sleep position gives a more accurate sense of how it will perform through the night.
  • Try each cushion size from the Fit Pack before committing to one. The right size seats snugly at the nostrils without a visible gap at the sides or discomfort from being forced too deep into the nasal passage.
  • If you wake with leaks, try a different cushion size before tightening the headgear. Overtightening the headgear almost always makes leaks worse on nasal pillow masks, not better.
  • Match your frame size to your face, not just your cushion size. Frame sizes (Small, Medium, Large) affect how the headgear arms sit above your ears and how the frame rests on the sides of your nose. A frame that is too large will shift during the night.
  • The swiveling elbow at the top of the head rotates freely. If you find the hose tugging your mask during the night, check that the elbow is rotating rather than being held in a fixed position by the hose routing.
  • This mask is for nasal breathers only. If you breathe through your mouth or wake with a dry mouth, add a chin strap to keep your mouth closed during the night.
  • Rinse the pillows cushion, frame, and headgear daily with warm water and mild soap. Let all parts air dry completely before reassembling. Do not put any components in the dishwasher.
  • Replace the nasal pillows cushion approximately every 2 weeks and the frame approximately every 3 months. Persistent leaks that do not improve with refitting are the most common sign that the cushion is worn and due for replacement.
  • The DreamWear frame is compatible with DreamWear nasal cushions and DreamWear Full Face cushions, sold separately. If you want to try a different mask style later, you can swap the cushion without replacing the frame or headgear.
  • Use distilled water only in the humidifier, and clean with approved CPAP cleaning supplies (avoid ozone cleaners, which void the warranty).
  • Replace the reusable air filter about every 6 months, and the optional ultra-fine filter about every 2 weeks.

Product Features

Foam-Free, One Less Worry

If the recent foam recalls left you wary, the G3 X is built without the internal sound-abatement foam, and React Health introduces it as the first standard-size foam-free PAP available in the U.S. It still runs quietly, around 28 dB(A) per the manufacturer, so it is easy to sleep next to.

Pressure That Adjusts to You

You should not have to think about pressure settings. In auto mode, the Smart A feature reads your breathing over several nights and fine-tunes your range, so therapy stays comfortable as your needs change. Prefer a set pressure? It runs in fixed CPAP mode too.

Comfort Built In: Humidifier and Heated Tubing

Dry air is one of the most common reasons people give up on CPAP. This G4600 includes the integrated heated humidifier and heated tubing, so the air reaches you warm and you see less water buildup (rainout) in the hose. Use distilled water to keep the chamber clean.

Hose at the Top, Face Completely Clear

On the DreamWear Silicone Pillows, air travels through the hollow frame and the hose connects at the crown of your head. Nothing crosses your face, nothing sits in front of your nose, and your full field of view stays open. The elbow at the top rotates freely as you shift positions, so side and stomach sleepers can move without the hose dragging on the seal.

Soft Silicone That Rests at the Nostrils

The silicone pillows cushion rests lightly at the nostril opening without pressing deeply inside. Fabric wraps on the frame sit against your cheeks without digging in, and the headgear arms sit above the ears with no pressure on the sides of your face. The Fit Pack includes all four cushion sizes so you can find the right fit at home.

Magnet-Free Headgear, Safe Near Implanted Devices

The DreamWear Silicone Pillows contains no magnets. The headgear closes with fabric tabs, not magnetic clips, so the FDA precaution for magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and similar devices does not apply. If you or your bed partner has an implanted device, this mask removes that concern entirely. Confirm with your cardiologist before starting therapy.

One Frame, Multiple Cushion Styles

The DreamWear frame accepts DreamWear nasal cushions and DreamWear Full Face cushions in addition to the silicone pillows. As your needs change, you can swap cushion styles without replacing the full mask system.

No Foam to Break Down Over Time

The G3 X removes the internal sound-abatement foam from the air path entirely, so there is no foam to degrade, shed, or require monitoring the way older CPAP designs did. You get consistent, reliable airflow without that concern.

Pressure That Adapts to Your Recent Nights

The Smart A algorithm reads your recent therapy history and adjusts your pressure settings accordingly, so support stays calibrated to how you are actually sleeping rather than staying fixed at an initial setting.

Warm, Humid Air Built In

Heated humidification and heated tubing are integrated into the G3 X, so you get warm, moist air from the first night without a separate humidifier chamber to manage or attach.

Quiet Enough to Forget It Is On

The G3 X runs at under 28 dB(A), so it stays in the background while you sleep. Light sleepers and partners who share the room tend to notice it less than a white noise machine.

Therapy Data Syncs Automatically Over 4G

Built-in 4G sends your nightly data to the React Health Connect platform without any Wi-Fi setup or cable syncing. You can review your progress through the patient app, the cloud dashboard, or the on-device display.

FAQs

Why does the hose connect at the top of the head instead of the front?

The DreamWear design routes pressurized air through the hollow mask frame so the hose connection sits at the crown of the head rather than in front of the face. This keeps the tubing out of your field of view and removes the front connection point that typically limits how you can turn or roll during sleep. Side and stomach sleepers gain the most from this setup.

What sizes come in the DreamWear Silicone Pillows Fit Pack?

The Fit Pack includes four nasal pillow cushion sizes: Small, Medium, Medium Wide, and Large. The frame comes in three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. One headgear fits all head sizes and adjusts using fabric tabs. Trying each cushion size in your usual sleep position is the most reliable way to find the right fit before committing to one.

How is the silicone pillows cushion different from the DreamWear Gel Pillows version?

Both use the same DreamWear top-of-head hose frame. The silicone version uses an all-silicone cushion material rather than gel. In user studies, people who had previously worn the Gel Pillows version rated the silicone version as more comfortable and reported a more secure seal. If you found the Gel Pillows too firm or leaky, the silicone cushion is the natural next step to try.

Is the DreamWear Silicone Pillows mask safe if I have a pacemaker or implanted device?

Yes. The DreamWear Silicone Pillows mask contains no magnets in any part of its frame, cushion, or headgear. The headgear fastens with fabric tabs, not magnetic clips. The FDA precautionary guidance about magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and similar devices does not apply to this mask. Confirm with your cardiologist before starting therapy.

Can I use this mask if I breathe through my mouth at night?

Not without an accessory. The DreamWear Silicone Pillows covers only the nose, so mouth breathing breaks the seal and reduces therapy effectiveness. A chin strap can help keep the mouth closed if you breathe through your mouth occasionally. Consistent mouth breathers will get better results with a full-face or hybrid mask.

Can I use this mask with a beard?

Yes. The pillows cushion makes contact only at the nostrils, and the headgear arms sit above the ears, so facial hair along the cheeks and upper lip does not interfere with the seal the way it does with a full face or nasal mask. A very dense beard directly under the nose could affect the nostril seal, but most users with moderate facial hair do well with nasal pillow masks.

How do I clean the DreamWear Silicone Pillows mask?

Rinse the pillows cushion, frame, and headgear daily with warm water and mild soap, then allow all parts to air dry before reassembling. Disassemble the cushion from the frame and separate the headgear arms before cleaning. Do not put any components in the dishwasher or expose them to harsh cleaners or ozone.

How often do I replace the silicone pillows cushion?

The nasal pillows cushion is typically replaced approximately every 2 weeks under regular use, and the mask frame every 3 months. The headgear is generally replaced every 6 months. Visible wear, persistent leaks after refitting, or reduced cushion softness are all signs a part is ready for replacement. Replacement cushions and frames are sold separately.

Do I need a prescription, and is the bundle FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes to both. The G3 X is a prescription device, so a valid Rx is required, and the bundle is FSA and HSA eligible. If your prescription has lapsed, we can help eligible U.S. residents renew it.

What warranty comes with the bundle, and can I fly with it?

The React Health G3 X carries a 5-year machine warranty, and the mask carries the Philips manufacturer mask warranty, so the two are covered separately. The G3 X also meets FAA requirements (RTCA DO-160) for use during all phases of flight.

What does foam-free mean, and does the machine need Wi-Fi?

Foam-free means the G3 X has no internal sound-abatement foam in the air path. The user-replaceable intake filter is a separate part. The machine shares data over a built-in 4G cellular modem, so no Wi-Fi setup is needed.
