Overview

Fiddling with straps in the dark is the fastest way to give up on a mask, so the F&P Evora Nasal skips it. The headgear goes on in one motion, like pulling on a cap, and the cushion sits under your nose with very little touching your face.

There are no magnets, so it is safe with a pacemaker or other implant. We pair it with the React Health G3 X, an auto-adjusting machine that handles your pressure for you and comes with its humidifier ready to go, so the whole setup stays simple from the first night.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Put the Evora Nasal on like a cap: slide the CapFit headgear over your head, then position the cushion under your nose. Do the final adjustment while lying in your sleep position so the fit accounts for how your face settles against the pillow.
  • Seat the cushion under your nose, not inside the nostrils. The under-the-nose design creates its seal from below, so inserting it into the nostrils will cause leaks and discomfort.
  • Use the Fisher and Paykel Fit Pack if you are unsure of your cushion size. It includes Small, Medium, and Large so you can compare fit at home. Note that Wide is not included in the Fit Pack and must be ordered separately if you need it.
  • If the seal leaks, try the next cushion size before tightening the headgear straps. Overtightening is a common cause of both leaks and pressure marks with under-the-nose cushions, and it compresses the seal unevenly.
  • The Evora Nasal is for nasal breathers. If you wake with a dry mouth or feel air escaping through your mouth, a chin strap can help keep your mouth closed during therapy. If mouth breathing is consistent, a full-face mask may be a better fit.
  • Rinse the Evora Nasal cushion and frame daily with warm water and mild soap, and let all parts air dry completely before reassembling. Skin oils and residue break down the cushion material faster than regular wear.
  • Replace the cushion every 3 months or sooner if you notice reduced seal quality, stiffness, or discoloration. Keeping a spare cushion on hand avoids therapy interruptions when replacement is due.
  • Because the Evora Nasal is magnet-free, there are no magnetic clips to keep away from implanted devices. You do not need to take special positioning precautions that apply to masks with magnetic closures.
  • One headgear size fits all four Evora Nasal cushion sizes (Small, Medium, Large, and Wide). If you switch cushion size to get a better fit, you keep the same headgear.
  • Use distilled water only in the humidifier, and clean with approved CPAP cleaning supplies (avoid ozone cleaners, which void the warranty).
  • Replace the reusable air filter about every 6 months, and the optional ultra-fine filter about every 2 weeks.

Product Features

Foam-Free, One Less Worry

If the recent foam recalls left you wary, the G3 X is built without the internal sound-abatement foam, and React Health introduces it as the first standard-size foam-free PAP available in the U.S. It still runs quietly, around 28 dB(A) per the manufacturer, so it is easy to sleep next to.

Pressure That Adjusts to You

You should not have to think about pressure settings. In auto mode, the Smart A feature reads your breathing over several nights and fine-tunes your range, so therapy stays comfortable as your needs change. Prefer a set pressure? It runs in fixed CPAP mode too.

Comfort Built In: Humidifier and Heated Tubing

Dry air is one of the most common reasons people give up on CPAP. This G4600 includes the integrated heated humidifier and heated tubing, so the air reaches you warm and you see less water buildup (rainout) in the hose. Use distilled water to keep the chamber clean.

On Like a Cap, Ready in One Motion

The CapFit headgear slides over your head the way a cap does. There are no individual straps to thread or adjust in the dark, and one headgear size works with all four cushion sizes so the fit stays consistent no matter which cushion you use.

Under Your Nose, Not on It

The cushion cradles below the nose without inserting into the nostrils or pressing on the nose bridge. A floating seal and stability wings adapt to your face as you move, holding a seal without requiring the headgear to be pulled tight.

Clear Sightlines, Any Sleep Position

Because nothing sits on the nose bridge or in front of your visual field, glasses stay comfortable and screens stay visible right up until you fall asleep. Side sleepers benefit too: the cushion repositions with you rather than pulling loose when you roll over.

No Magnets, Safe for Pacemakers and Implants

The Evora Nasal has no magnets in the cushion, frame, or headgear, so people with pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and other implanted devices can use it without any magnetic distance precautions.

Foam-Free, One Less Thing to Worry About

The G3 X removes the internal sound-abatement foam from the air path entirely, so there is no worry about foam breaking down over time the way it did in older CPAP designs. The same quiet, effective therapy, without that concern.

Pressure That Adjusts to How You Sleep

The Smart A algorithm reads your recent therapy and fine-tunes your pressure automatically, so you get what you need each night without touching the settings yourself.

Warm, Comfortable Air From the First Night

A built-in heated humidifier and heated tubing warm the air before it reaches you, reducing the dryness and irritation that make therapy feel unpleasant, especially in the first weeks.

So Quiet You Forget It Is On

The G3 X runs at under 28 dB(A), which is quieter than a soft whisper, so your therapy does not become your partner's problem.

Therapy Data Syncs Without Wi-Fi

A built-in 4G modem sends your nightly data automatically, no network setup required. You track progress through the patient app or your care team's portal, and the machine keeps a local backup on the included SD card.

FAQs

What is CapFit headgear and how do I put it on?

CapFit is the Evora Nasal's headgear design. You slide it over your head in one motion, the same way you'd put on a cap. Once it's positioned, you settle the cushion under your nose and adjust the straps. One headgear size fits all four cushion sizes. In an internal fit study, 98% of respiratory therapists could fit the mask in the dark.

What cushion sizes does the Evora Nasal come in, and what is the Fit Pack?

The Evora Nasal cushion comes in Small, Medium, Large, and Wide. A Fit Pack with Small, Medium, and Large is available if you are unsure of your size. One headgear size fits all four cushion variants, so you do not need different headgear if you change size later.

Who is the Evora Nasal designed for?

The Evora Nasal is designed for nasal breathers who want a low-contact mask with easy nightly fitting. It suits glasses wearers, side sleepers, and people who feel confined in nasal pillows or full-face masks. It is not for mouth breathers. If you consistently breathe through your mouth, a chin strap or a full-face mask is a better fit.

Can I use the Evora Nasal if I breathe through my mouth at night?

No, not without an additional accessory. The Evora Nasal covers only the nose, so mouth breathing breaks the seal and interrupts therapy. A chin strap can help some people keep their mouth closed. If you consistently breathe through your mouth, a full-face mask is a better starting point.

Is the Evora Nasal mask safe if I have a pacemaker or other implanted device?

Yes. The Evora Nasal has no magnets in the cushion, frame, or headgear. People with pacemakers, ICDs, defibrillators, cochlear implants, and other implanted electronic or metallic devices can use it. If you have a specific implant, confirm with your cardiologist before use.

What does the floating seal and stability wings system do?

The floating seal, combined with the stability wings (Dynamic Support), allows the mask to move with your face as you shift positions during sleep. The seal adapts to movement rather than relying on a tight headgear fit to hold. This reduces the chance of leaks when you roll over, and it limits pressure marks from over-tightening.

How do I clean the Evora Nasal, and how often should I replace the cushion?

Rinse the cushion and frame daily with warm water and mild soap, then air dry completely before reassembling. Replace the cushion every 3 months or sooner if you notice reduced seal quality, discoloration, or stiffness. Regular cleaning extends cushion life and helps maintain a consistent seal.

What is included in this bundle?

The bundle includes the React Health G3 X APAP device (model G4600) with its built-in heated humidifier and water chamber, integrated 6-foot heated tubing, built-in cellular modem, AC adapter and power cord, reusable air filter, SD card, carrying case, and user guide. It also includes the Fisher and Paykel Evora Nasal Mask in the cushion size you select, with headgear, frame, top strap, back strap, tube, and swivel.

Do I need a prescription, and is the bundle FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes to both. The G3 X is a prescription device, so a valid Rx is required, and the bundle is FSA and HSA eligible. If your prescription has lapsed, we can help eligible U.S. residents renew it.

What warranty comes with the bundle, and can I fly with it?

The React Health G3 X carries a 5-year machine warranty, and the mask carries its own manufacturer warranty, so the two are covered separately. The G3 X also meets FAA requirements (RTCA DO-160) for use during all phases of flight.

What does foam-free mean, and does the machine need Wi-Fi?

Foam-free means the G3 X has no internal sound-abatement foam in the air path. The user-replaceable intake filter is a separate part. The machine shares data over a built-in 4G cellular modem, so no Wi-Fi setup is needed.
