Overview

Our ResMed AirMini AutoSet and AirTouch N20 bundle puts the ResMed AirMini AutoSet travel CPAP, the AirTouch N20 memory foam nasal mask and the AirMini setup pack for N20 masks in one order, ready to connect on night one. It suits nose breathers, side sleepers and people with sensitive skin who want one foam mask for home and travel.

What's in the box

A standard CPAP hose cannot attach to the AirMini, which is why the slim AirMini tubing and the N20 connector come in the box.

Prefer silicone? The AirMini bundle with the AirFit N20 uses the same frame with a silicone cushion (compare them in our AirTouch vs AirFit guide). Mouth breather? The AirMini bundle with the AirTouch F20 keeps a memory foam cushion in a full face mask. Already have an AirMini? Choose the AirTouch N20 with the AirMini setup pack; for the For Her version, pair the For Her mask with the N20 setup pack. Compare every pairing in our AirMini travel bundles.

The mask has magnetic clips: if you or anyone close to you has an implant, read the magnet warning in Important Tips. You need a prescription for this FSA/HSA eligible bundle (you can upload your prescription online), and it ships from us as an authorized ResMed dealer.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Check for implants before you use this mask. The AirTouch N20 frame and lower headgear clips contain magnets (under 400 mT), and they can come apart while you sleep. ResMed contraindicates this mask for two kinds of implants, whether they belong to you or to anyone in close physical contact while you use it: active implants that interact with magnets, including a pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator, neurostimulator, cerebrospinal fluid shunt, or insulin or infusion pump; and metallic implants with ferromagnetic material, including aneurysm clips or flow disruption devices, embolic coils, stents, valves, electrodes, hearing or balance implants with magnets, ocular implants and metal splinters in the eye. Keep the magnets at least 6 in (150 mm) away from implants or medical devices that magnetic fields can affect; this applies to you and to anyone in close physical contact with your mask. Affected devices include some metallic implants such as contact lenses with metal, dental implants, metallic cranial plates, screws, burr hole covers and bone substitute devices. If you are unsure, check with your physician and your implant maker, and never bring the mask into an MRI room (it is MR unsafe). Prefer a magnet-free mask? Choose the AirMini bundle with the AirFit N30 or the AirMini bundle with the AirFit P10.
  • Set it up in this sequence. Power cable into the AirMini first, then the gray end of the AirMini tubing onto the air outlet. With the mask on, squeeze the side buttons to release the elbow and click the N20 connector onto the frame where the elbow was. Our AirMini setup guide covers it step by step.
  • Load the cartridge dry. Open the N20 connector with a twist, seat HumidX or HumidX Plus colored side down and twist it closed until it locks, beginning each night with a dry cartridge. HumidX suits most nights and HumidX Plus very dry air; replace either one within 30 days of opening and never wash it.
  • Test your seal in the AirMini app. Run Mask Fit in the free AirMini by ResMed app (iOS and Android) before your first night; the app also starts and stops therapy and keeps a daily score with 30 days of history. The separate myAir app does not connect to the AirMini, and the machine runs without any app.
  • Keep the foam cushion dry. Skip the daily soak you would give a silicone cushion. When it needs a refresh, wipe the outside with an alcohol-free wipe and let it dry, keep it out of water and direct sunlight, and replace it every month with a new AirTouch N20 cushion.
  • Clean the hard parts on a routine. The N20 connector gets a daily wash; the frame, headgear and AirMini tubing get a weekly one, with the magnetic clips left on. Use warm water and a mild liquid detergent, rinse, then air dry away from direct sunlight. Skip the dishwasher and ozone or UV cleaners, and wipe the outside of the machine with a dry cloth once a week.
  • Renew AirMini parts every six months or sooner. That includes the N20 connector, the AirMini tubing and the AirMini filter. The filter cannot be washed, so swap it sooner if it looks dirty or blocked; a spare comes in your bundle.
  • Swap worn mask parts. Cracks, tears or a seal that stops holding mean it is time for a new AirTouch N20 frame system, AirTouch N20 for Her frame, N20 headgear or N20 for Her headgear.
  • Want silicone some nights? The AirFit N20 silicone cushion clicks onto the same frame and can be washed, so you can switch between foam and silicone.
  • Switch to airplane mode on board. After you plug in at your seat, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds or more until it glows white, leave the app closed and press Start/Stop. Bring the ResMed travel compliance letter from Guide and Resources, confirm your airline's rules, and see our guide to flying with a CPAP machine for screening tips.
  • Power without a wall outlet. Nothing inside the AirMini stores power, so it always needs a source: its 20W power supply, or the AirMini DC converter in a negative-ground 12 V or 24 V vehicle or boat socket (never on aircraft). If you add a battery, confirm its maker lists the AirMini as compatible; our guide to the best CPAP batteries covers runtime and carry-on basics.
  • Hearing more air than expected? Run Mask Fit and adjust the headgear first, since leaks are a common source of noise. Our guide on how to reduce CPAP noise covers more fixes.

Product Features

Compact Size for Travel Use

The AirMini, weighing only 0.66 pounds and measuring about 5.4 inches wide, 3.3 inches deep, and 2.1 inches high, is one of the smallest CPAP machines available. This compact size fits easily into carry-on bags, backpacks, or bedside drawers, which is ideal for travel or small spaces. Despite its portability, it delivers full-featured therapy with the same algorithm as larger ResMed devices.

AutoSet Therapy and AutoRamp Comfort

The device includes ResMed’s AutoSet feature, which automatically adjusts pressure throughout the night in response to changes in breathing. It also has AutoRamp, which starts therapy at a lower pressure and gradually increases it once sleep onset is detected. Both features aim to make therapy more comfortable and easier to tolerate, especially at the beginning of the night.

Bluetooth Connection with the AirMini App

Bluetooth connectivity allows the AirMini to pair with the AirMini app, providing access to comfort settings and sleep data. Through the app, you can track therapy usage, mask fit, and pressure levels. You can also modify ramp time, enable SmartStart, and review your past 30 days of sleep data, making it easier to monitor and manage your therapy.

Soft Foam That Shapes to Your Nose

The AirTouch N20 cushion is made of ResMed UltraSoft memory foam, which adapts to the contours of your face for a gentle, personalized seal. It is a comfortable choice if you have sensitive skin.

Read, Watch TV or Sleep on Your Side

A nasal mask covers only your nose, so your view stays open for a book or a show before bed, and the AirTouch N20 suits side sleepers. Its magnetic clips guide the headgear onto the frame, so putting the mask on and taking it off is quick.

Keep the Elbow for Your Bedside CPAP

Hold on to the elbow and short tube packed with your AirTouch N20. They connect the mask to a bedside CPAP, while the N20 connector takes over on the AirMini, so one foam mask covers home and travel. The same frame also accepts the AirFit N20 silicone cushion.

A Smaller Fit With AirTouch N20 for Her

Choose the For Her option and you get the AirTouch N20 for Her, with a Small foam cushion, a smaller fit range and lavender accents. Standard Small, Medium and Large are available too, and the sizing guide in Guide and Resources helps you choose.

Comfortable Air on Long Flights and Dry Nights

Wear the AirTouch N20 through the whole flight, since the AirMini meets FAA requirements, and let the HumidX Plus in your box add moisture when cabin or mountain air turns very dry. Both cartridges are waterless, so there is no tank to fill or spill in your carry-on.

Foam Cushion Care Without Daily Washing

The memory foam cushion needs no daily washing, one less task on busy mornings and on the road. Plan on a new cushion every month.

Expert Tips & Videos

FAQs

What do I get in the AirTouch N20 travel bundle?

Your box holds the ResMed AirMini AutoSet (with power supply, drawstring bag and user guide, plus the installed filter and a spare), the AirTouch N20 complete nasal mask in Small, Medium or Large or the AirTouch N20 for Her in Small, and the AirMini setup pack for N20 masks with the N20 connector, AirMini tubing, one HumidX and one HumidX Plus.

Do I need a prescription for the AirMini and AirTouch N20?

Yes. Both the machine and the AirTouch N20 mask require a prescription, so your bundle ships once we have a valid CPAP prescription on file. The bundle is FSA/HSA eligible as well. Upload your prescription online, email it to [email protected] or fax it, and if you can't find it, we can request it from your doctor. Need to renew an existing CPAP prescription? RxExpress does it online. No diagnosis yet? A home sleep test can get you diagnosed from home.

Does the AirTouch N20 work with the AirMini?

Yes. ResMed's AirMini mask compatibility list includes both the AirTouch N20 and the For Her version. They connect through the N20 connector for AirMini, which replaces the mask elbow and plugs into the AirMini tubing. Standard 22 mm hoses do not fit the AirMini outlet, so stick with the AirMini tubing in the box and ResMed AirMini parts.

Can I use this AirTouch N20 on my home CPAP too?

Yes. Keep the elbow and short tube that come with the mask. On the AirMini the N20 connector stands in for the elbow; at home, clip the elbow back onto the frame and the same foam mask connects to a standard CPAP hose.

I already own an AirMini. Do I need this bundle?

No. If you already have an AirMini, the AirTouch N20 with the AirMini setup pack gives you the mask and every part to connect it, without a second machine. If you already have the mask too, the AirMini setup pack for N20 masks is all you need.

What is the difference between this bundle and the AirMini bundle with the AirFit N20?

The cushion. Both bundles use the same N20 frame, headgear, setup pack and HumidX cartridges. The AirTouch N20 has an UltraSoft memory foam cushion that is wiped, never washed, and replaced monthly; the AirFit N20 has an InfinitySeal silicone cushion that you wash daily. The two cushions fit the same frame, so you can switch later.

How do I clean the AirTouch N20 memory foam cushion?

You do not clean it every day. If it needs a refresh, wipe the outside with an alcohol-free wipe and let it dry. Never rinse or submerge it, discard it if it gets soaked or heavily soiled, and replace it every month. The frame and headgear are washed weekly in warm water with a mild liquid detergent.

Which AirTouch N20 size should I choose?

The AirTouch N20 comes in Small, Medium and Large, and the AirTouch N20 for Her comes in Small with lavender accents and a smaller fit range. Print the AirTouch N20 sizing guide from Guide and Resources at 100% scale (no fit to page) and check your nose against it before you order.

Are there magnets in the AirTouch N20, and who should avoid it?

Yes, in the frame and the lower headgear clips. Skip this mask if you, or anyone in close physical contact while you use it, has a pacemaker, implantable defibrillator, neurostimulator, CSF shunt, insulin or infusion pump, or a ferromagnetic metal implant such as aneurysm clips, embolic coils or stents; Important Tips names the rest. Other implants and medical devices that magnets can affect need at least 6 inches (150 mm) of distance from the magnets. For a magnet-free option with the AirMini, look at the AirFit N30 or AirFit P10 bundle.

Do I have to use a HumidX cartridge with the AirTouch N20?

No, the cartridge is optional. Load HumidX in the N20 connector for everyday air, or HumidX Plus for very dry cabins and high altitude. If droplets show up on your nose or mask with HumidX Plus, step down to HumidX; if they keep coming with HumidX, run the AirMini with no cartridge. Use a dry cartridge every night and change it by day 30 after opening.

Will the AirMini work on a flight or away from an outlet?

On a flight, yes: the AirMini is FAA compliant for use during the whole flight, its power supply accepts 115 V 400 Hz aircraft power, and you switch it to airplane mode on board (steps in Important Tips). Away from an outlet, you need an external power source, since there is no built-in battery: the ResMed DC/DC converter on a 12 V or 24 V negative-ground vehicle or boat socket (not for use on aircraft), or a battery whose maker lists AirMini compatibility. Check your airline's policy on carry-on limits, in-flight use and seat power before you fly.

How much noise does the AirMini make with the AirTouch N20?

ResMed rates the AirMini at 29 dBA sound pressure in CPAP mode (ISO 80601-2-70), and with the mask on the N20 connector and AirMini tubing, ResMed measures 15 dBA sound pressure (ISO 17510:2015). If you hear hissing or air escaping, a leak is a common cause: run Mask Fit in the AirMini by ResMed app and adjust the headgear.
