Magnetic clips guide the headgear onto the frame so you can put the mask on or take it off without fumbling in the dark. The plush headgear spreads pressure across a wider area instead of digging into your cheeks.

The quick-release elbow lets you disconnect from the hose with one motion if you need to get up in the middle of the night, then reconnect and fall back asleep without readjusting the whole mask.

Because it covers only the nose, the AirTouch N20 leaves your eyes and lower face clear. You can read, watch TV, or wear glasses in bed without the mask getting in the way.

The passive vent on the elbow is built to diffuse exhaled air instead of releasing it in one noisy stream. ResMed lists a sound power level of 24 dBA, which is quiet enough to avoid disturbing a partner sleeping next to you.

The memory foam cushion cannot be submerged in water, so cleaning it is a quick daily wipe instead of a wash routine. This is faster than cleaning a silicone cushion, though the tradeoff is a shorter replacement cycle.

Because the AirTouch N20 and AirFit N20 use the same frame and headgear, you only need to buy a replacement cushion, not a whole new mask, if you want to try the other material.

ResMed validates this mask for therapy pressures from 4 to 30 cm H2O, so it works whether your prescription is on the lower end or set higher.

The AirTouch N20 is not made with natural rubber latex, PVC, DEHP, DBP, or BBP, which matters if you have sensitivities to these materials.
