Its soft silicone seal sits under your nose and over your mouth instead of covering the bridge of your nose, so you keep an open line of sight to read or wear glasses before bed. The Quick Release Clips that hold the VentiCool headgear in place are magnet-free, which is worth knowing if you or someone nearby has a pacemaker or another implanted device.

The Micro 510 delivers auto-adjusting APAP therapy from 4 to 20 cm H2O (a fixed CPAP mode is also available), with GentleRise ramp, AirRelief exhalation relief, and SleepStart built in. Important Tips

  • Because the Micro 510 has no built in battery, pack a PowerAway Battery separately if you want backup power away from an outlet.
  • Check the hypoallergenic filter weekly during travel and replace it every couple of weeks, sooner in a dusty environment.
  • The waterless AirMist HME cartridge lasts about 5 to 7 nights and cannot be washed, so pack a spare for longer trips.
  • Hook both Quick Release Clips onto the frame, then tighten the headgear starting with the upper straps and finishing with the lower straps. Once it is snug, the clips hold that fit for next time.
  • If the Small-Medium seal in your Fit Pack does not hold, try the Extra Small or Large size that ships alongside it before ordering a new cushion.
  • Wash the cushion daily with mild soap and warm water, and wash the headgear weekly. Skip alcohol-based or antibacterial cleaners, which can break down the silicone over time.
  • The Micro 510 runs on 100 to 240 VAC, so you only need a plug adapter for the outlet shape abroad, not a voltage converter.
  • Keep the AC adapter packed inside the hard shell case so it does not get crushed in your bag. If you ever need a replacement case, we carry it separately.
