Overview

This bundle pairs the ResMed AirMini AutoSet travel CPAP with the AirFit N20 nasal mask (or the AirFit N20 for Her) and the AirMini setup pack that connects them, so everything works together from the first night. It suits nose breathers who prefer a classic silicone nasal mask and want their therapy to come along on every trip. The AirFit N20 rests over the nose and keeps your view open, a good match for side sleepers and anyone who watches TV or wears glasses in bed.

What's in the box

The AirMini uses its own slim tubing, so a regular CPAP hose will not fit it. The N20 connector replaces the mask's elbow and holds the HumidX cartridge, which is how you get humidified therapy on the road without carrying water. The AirMini meets FAA requirements for use on board. It has no built-in battery, so it runs from an outlet, from a vehicle socket with the ResMed DC/DC converter, or from a third-party CPAP battery whose maker lists AirMini compatibility.

Already have an AirMini? Choose the AirFit N20 with the AirMini setup pack instead of buying a second machine. Prefer a memory foam cushion? Choose the AirMini with AirTouch N20 bundle, or compare every pairing in our AirMini travel bundles. A prescription is required, and you can upload it online. FSA and HSA funds can be used for this bundle, and we sell it as an authorized ResMed dealer.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Connect it in this order. Plug the power supply into the AirMini and push the gray end of the AirMini tubing onto the air outlet. Fit your mask, press the elbow's side buttons to remove it, and attach the N20 connector to the frame in its place. Our AirMini setup guide shows each step.
  • Start with HumidX, move to HumidX Plus for very dry air. Twist the connector open, insert the cartridge with the colored side down and twist until it locks. Replace it within 30 days of opening, never wash it, and start each night with a dry cartridge.
  • Check your seal with Mask Fit. The free AirMini by ResMed app (iOS and Android) runs a Mask Fit test, starts and stops therapy and shows your sleep score. The AirMini works with the AirMini app, not myAir, and it also runs without the app.
  • Magnet safety for the AirFit N20. The frame and lower headgear clips contain magnets. Do not use this mask if you, or anyone in close physical contact while you use it, has an active implant that interacts with magnets (pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator, neurostimulator, cerebrospinal fluid shunt, insulin or infusion pump) or a metallic implant with ferromagnetic material (aneurysm clips or flow disruption devices, embolic coils, stents, valves, electrodes, hearing or balance implants with magnets, ocular implants, metal splinters in the eye).
  • Keep the magnets at least 6 in (150 mm) away from implants or medical devices that magnetic fields can affect, including some dental implants, contact lenses with metal, metallic cranial plates, screws, burr hole covers and bone substitute devices. The magnetic clips can come apart while you sleep, so keep this distance in mind for anyone sharing your bed. Ask your physician and the implant maker if you are unsure, and keep the mask out of MRI rooms (it is MR unsafe). If magnets are a concern, the AirMini bundle with the AirFit N30 and the AirMini bundle with the AirFit P10 use masks that have no magnets.
  • Wash the cushion every day. Soak it in warm water (about 86°F) with a mild liquid detergent for up to 10 minutes, rinse well and air dry out of direct sunlight.
  • Wash the N20 connector every day. Wash it in warm water with a mild liquid detergent, brush the vent holes inside the connector with a soft brush, rinse under running water and shake off the excess. Check that the vent holes are clear and air dry out of direct sunlight.
  • Weekly: headgear, frame and tubing. Wash the headgear and frame (the magnetic clips can stay on) and the AirMini tubing in warm water with a mild liquid detergent, then air dry out of direct sunlight. No dishwasher, washing machine, UV or ozone cleaners.
  • Replace AirMini parts at least every six months. That includes the N20 connector, the AirMini tubing and the machine filter, which cannot be washed (your bundle includes one spare). Find replacements in our AirMini setup packs and connectors.
  • Replace mask parts when they wear. Swap any part that shows cracks, tears or a seal that no longer holds: order a replacement AirFit N20 cushion, AirFit N20 headgear or AirFit N20 for Her headgear, and see when to replace CPAP supplies.
  • Silicone marking your skin? The AirTouch N20 memory foam cushion fits the same AirFit N20 frame; you wipe it with alcohol-free wipes instead of washing it and replace it monthly. Compare both in AirTouch vs AirFit.
  • Flying? Use airplane mode. Plug in at your seat, then keep the Bluetooth button held for at least 10 seconds; a white light means airplane mode is on. Skip the app and press Start/Stop. Carry the ResMed travel compliance letter from Guide and Resources, and read flying with a CPAP machine.
  • Plan your power before you go. The AirMini has no built-in battery. The AirMini DC/DC converter runs it from a 12 V or 24 V vehicle or boat socket (not on aircraft). ResMed does not list a battery for the AirMini, so for off-grid nights pick a third-party battery whose maker lists AirMini compatibility from our CPAP batteries collection, and see our CPAP battery guide.

Product Features

Compact Size for Travel Use

The AirMini, weighing only 0.66 pounds and measuring about 5.4 inches wide, 3.3 inches deep, and 2.1 inches high, is one of the smallest CPAP machines available. This compact size fits easily into carry-on bags, backpacks, or bedside drawers, which is ideal for travel or small spaces. Despite its portability, it delivers full-featured therapy with the same algorithm as larger ResMed devices.

AutoSet Therapy and AutoRamp Comfort

The device includes ResMed’s AutoSet feature, which automatically adjusts pressure throughout the night in response to changes in breathing. It also has AutoRamp, which starts therapy at a lower pressure and gradually increases it once sleep onset is detected. Both features aim to make therapy more comfortable and easier to tolerate, especially at the beginning of the night.

Bluetooth Connection with the AirMini App

Bluetooth connectivity allows the AirMini to pair with the AirMini app, providing access to comfort settings and sleep data. Through the app, you can track therapy usage, mask fit, and pressure levels. You can also modify ramp time, enable SmartStart, and review your past 30 days of sleep data, making it easier to monitor and manage your therapy.

One Mask for Home and the Road

Your AirFit N20 arrives as a complete mask, standard elbow and short tube included. On the AirMini, the N20 connector from the setup pack takes the elbow's place. Back home, attach the elbow again and the same mask works with a standard bedside CPAP, so there is only one mask to get used to.

A Fit Chosen for Your Face

Pick Small, Medium or Large, or choose the AirFit N20 for Her, which pairs the small frame and cushion with the dedicated For Her headgear. Print the fitting template from Guide and Resources and check your size at home before you order, so your first night starts with the right seal.

Humidity You Can Adjust to the Climate

Start with the blue HumidX cartridge, and switch to the gray HumidX Plus when the air is very dry, such as at high altitude or in an airplane cabin. If you wake up to water droplets, go back from HumidX Plus to HumidX; if you already use HumidX, try a night without a cartridge.

Built for the Plane and the Car

Therapy can continue in your seat, since the AirMini meets FAA requirements for in-flight use; carry the ResMed travel compliance letter from Guide and Resources. The power supply accepts 100 to 240 V and aircraft power. It has no built-in battery: the ResMed DC/DC converter runs it from a vehicle socket.

Easy Care With Washable Silicone

The silicone cushion and the N20 connector wash in warm water with a mild liquid detergent each day and air dry while you are out. Headgear and frame need a wash once a week, and the magnetic clips can stay attached. Skip dishwashers and UV or ozone cleaners, which can damage the mask.

Expert Tips & Videos

FAQs

What is included with the AirMini and AirFit N20?

You get the ResMed AirMini AutoSet machine, so you do not need to buy it separately, with its power supply, drawstring bag, user guide, an installed standard filter and one spare filter. You also get the AirFit N20 complete nasal mask in your size (or the AirFit N20 for Her) and the AirMini setup pack for N20, which holds the N20 connector, the AirMini tubing, one HumidX and one HumidX Plus cartridge.

Is a prescription required for the AirFit N20 bundle, and can I pay with FSA or HSA?

Yes to both. Under US federal law, both the AirMini and the AirFit N20 are prescription devices, so we need a valid CPAP prescription before shipping. You can pay for the bundle with FSA or HSA funds. Upload your prescription online, email it to [email protected] or fax it, and if you can't find it, we can request it from your doctor. Need to renew an existing CPAP prescription? RxExpress does it online. No diagnosis yet? A home sleep test can get you diagnosed from home.

How does the AirFit N20 in this bundle connect to the AirMini?

Through the N20 connector for AirMini from the setup pack. You remove the mask's standard elbow and attach the connector to the frame in its place, then plug the connector into the AirMini tubing. The AirFit N20 and AirFit N20 for Her are on ResMed's AirMini compatible mask list. A regular 22 mm CPAP hose will not fit the AirMini, so use the included AirMini tubing.

Can I use the AirMini every day, and the AirFit N20 on my bedside CPAP?

Yes. ResMed designed the AirMini for home use as well as travel, and it meets the everyday needs of many CPAP users. To use the same AirFit N20 on a bedside CPAP, put the standard elbow and short tube back on in place of the N20 connector, and it connects to a standard CPAP hose.

Which size should I choose, and what is the For Her option?

Use the AirFit N20 fitting template in Guide and Resources to measure your nose before ordering. Medium is the size our customers pick most often, but the template is the reliable way to choose. The For Her option ships the AirFit N20 for Her, a small frame and cushion with the dedicated For Her headgear.

Does the AirFit N20 have magnets, and who should not use it?

Yes. Magnets sit in the AirFit N20 frame and lower headgear clips. That rules the mask out if you, or anyone in close physical contact while you use it, has an active implant that interacts with magnets, such as a pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator or neurostimulator, or a metallic implant with ferromagnetic material, such as aneurysm clips, embolic coils or stents; Important Tips lists every device ResMed names. Keep the magnets at least 6 inches (150 mm) from other implants and medical devices. If magnets are a concern, our AirMini bundles with the AirFit N30 or AirFit P10 use masks that have no magnets.

Can I use the AirMini without HumidX, and which cartridge should I start with?

Yes. Humidification is optional, and the AirMini runs without a cartridge. Start with HumidX, which suits most people and climates, and switch to HumidX Plus when the air is very dry, for example at high altitude or on a plane. If you get uncomfortable water droplets, switch from HumidX Plus to HumidX. If you already use HumidX, remove it and try therapy without a cartridge. Both are replaced within 30 days of opening and cannot be washed.

Can I take the AirMini and AirFit N20 on a plane, and does it need a battery?

Yes. ResMed confirms the AirMini meets FAA requirements (RTCA/DO-160, Section 21, Category M), so the N20 setup can run during every phase of the flight. On board, a press of at least 10 seconds on the Bluetooth button turns on airplane mode, and the Start/Stop button begins therapy. It has no built-in battery, so it runs from its power supply (100 to 240 V, plus 115 V 400 Hz aircraft power), from a 12 V or 24 V vehicle socket with the ResMed DC/DC converter (not for aircraft), or from a third-party CPAP battery whose maker lists AirMini compatibility. For some airlines, medical devices do not count toward carry-on limits, so check your airline's policy before you fly.

How loud is the AirMini with the AirFit N20?

The AirMini is rated at 29 dBA sound pressure in CPAP mode (ISO 80601-2-70). The N20 connector and mask add a vent noise of 15 dBA sound pressure (ISO 17510:2015). Sound at home can vary with mask fit and leaks, so run the Mask Fit test in the AirMini app if you hear more air than expected.

How often should I replace the cushion, connector and other parts?

Replace the N20 connector, the AirMini tubing and the machine filter at least every six months, and HumidX or HumidX Plus within 30 days of opening. Replace the cushion, headgear or frame whenever you see cracks, tears or a seal that no longer holds. Washing the cushion and connector daily helps them last.
