The X30i is an oral-nasal design: it seals under the nose and around the mouth with a nasal pillows cushion instead of covering the whole face, and the tube connects at the top of the head instead of hanging in front.

The AirCurve 11 VAuto is a BiPAP, not a CPAP: it delivers two pressures, a higher IPAP when you inhale and a lower EPAP when you exhale, and VAuto mode auto-adjusts both within the range your provider sets (IPAP 4 to 25, EPAP 4 to 25, pressure support 0 to 10 cm H2O). Important Tips

  • Confirm your CPAP, S, or VAuto mode and pressure settings with your provider before your first night. The AirCurve 11 VAuto ships in the mode your DME sets, it does not switch to VAuto on its own.
  • Register your machine in the myAir app as soon as you set it up. Our setup guide covers each step in more detail.
  • The AirFit X30i's lower headgear clips are magnetic. Keep the mask at least 6 inches (150 mm) away from pacemakers, defibrillators, and other magnet-sensitive implants. Our guide for patients with pacemakers or defibrillators has more detail.
  • Fill the HumidAir tub with distilled water instead of tap water to prevent mineral buildup and keep the humidifier running clean.
  • Want heated humidification on top of the standard tubing in this bundle? Add ClimateLineAir 11 heated tubing separately. It is the only heated tube compatible with the AirCurve 11 VAuto and is not included.
  • Wash your mask and tubing daily with a mild, CPAP-safe soap to remove oil and buildup.
  • Replace your X30i cushion every 2 weeks to keep a secure, leak-free seal.
  • Swap the AirCurve 11 filter every 2 weeks so the machine keeps pulling clean air.
  • Replace your headgear every 6 months, or sooner if the straps feel stretched out or loose.
  • Keep CPAP mask wipes on hand for a quick clean when you are traveling or pressed for time.

The HumidAir 11 humidifier is built into the machine, so there is no separate tub to attach. ResMed lists a sound level of 26 dBA with the included standard tubing, rising slightly to 27 dBA if you add ClimateLineAir 11 heated tubing.

Your Therapy Data, Tracked Automatically

The AirCurve 11 VAuto's built-in cellular connection sends your nightly therapy data to the myAir app on its own, no manual syncing needed. Bluetooth is used to pair the app with your machine.
