Important Tips

  • Build the circuit from the machine out. Start at the machine outlet, add the WhisperSoft muffler and TransFlex hose, then the AirMist HME and finally your mask. The muffler is optional, so on nights you want the lightest setup, the hose can go straight onto the machine.
  • Pair the app before your first trip. Press the Bluetooth button; once the light is blue, scan the QR code on the bottom of the machine in MySleepDash; the light turns green once connected. The Micro 510 also runs without the app.
  • Fresh AirMist cartridge every 3 to 7 days. Cartridges cannot be washed or reused, so handle them by the plastic casing and restock with AirMist HME cartridges before a long trip.
  • Use only 510 filters and check them weekly. Retire the hypoallergenic filter at two weeks whether or not it looks dirty, and the woven filter as often as every two weeks depending on its condition; change either one sooner in dusty or humid rooms. Original Micro PureFresh filters do not fit; refills are 510 woven filters or 510 hypoallergenic filters.
  • Rotate the spare hose and muffler. Two TransFlex hoses and two mufflers let you rotate: wash one set weekly while you sleep on the other, and retire each after three months. After that, the Micro 510 WhisperSoft muffler kit replaces the hose and muffler together, and more 510 replacement parts are in our Transcend Micro accessories collection.
  • Fly with the FAA letter and call ahead. Print the Transcend FAA letter from the guides below and contact your airline before travel, since some ask for advance notice. Our CPAP flying checklist covers security screening.
  • Add cordless power for camping or outages. The PowerAway battery (sold separately) runs up to 17.5 hours between charges in most cases, depending on pressure, mask, leak and altitude; the Micro 510 Power Bundle already includes it.
  • Solar charging needs the battery first. The Sun-Watt solar charger (sold separately) recharges the PowerAway battery, not the Micro 510 directly.
  • Prescription and comfort settings. Your provider sets therapy pressure; you can adjust ramp and exhale relief in the app. If your prescription has run out, you can renew it through our online CPAP prescription renewal.

Pocket-Size Weight and Dimensions
The Transcend Micro 510 is a travel-size CPAP machine that weighs 0.48 lb and measures 3.6 in x 3.6 in x 2.4 in. It fits easily in a bag without taking up much space while still supporting a full pressure range. Available colors include Midnight Blue, Petal Pink, Graphite Gray, and Birch White.

CPAP and Auto-CPAP Modes
The Micro 510 runs in CPAP mode or Auto-CPAP mode. CPAP delivers one fixed pressure, while Auto-CPAP adjusts within a set range as you breathe. Default settings are 4 to 20 cm H2O, meaning centimeters of water pressure. Ramp mode can begin lower and increase gradually for a smoother start.

Standard 22 mm Mask Compatibility
The Micro 510 uses a standard 22 mm mask connection, which is the most common hose connection in CPAP setups. If your current mask already uses a 22 mm connector, you can usually keep it. No brand-specific adapter is needed, only a compatible mask and hose configuration for your setup.

Why choose this over the original Transcend Micro Essential Bundle?

The machine and its parts. This bundle is built on the newer Micro 510: its warranty runs a year longer, its box also packs the hard shell case plus an AirMist HME, the pack adds a shorter AirFlex hose, and every filter is made only for the 510. The original bundle costs less and uses the first-generation Micro with PureFresh filters. Both include a SleepPak travel bag, spare hoses and mufflers, an AirMist HME adapter with cartridges and plug adapters.

Should I get this or the Micro 510 Power Bundle?

The battery and the price. The Micro 510 Power Bundle has the same Micro 510, Essentials Pack, SleepPak and hard shell case, adds the PowerAway battery for nights without an outlet, and costs more. Both come in the same four machine colors. If you mostly sleep near an outlet, this is the lower-price 510 travel kit, and you can add the battery later.

How long will the included spare supplies last?

The four AirMist cartridges in the pack cover about 12 to 28 days of use, since each one lasts 3 to 7 days once opened. The four spare 510 filters cover about two months if you change one every two weeks. The spare TransFlex hose and muffler give you a second three-month cycle.

Can I use the AirFlex 4 ft hose from the pack as my main hose?

Yes. The Micro 510 accepts Transcend AirFlex hoses as well as its TransFlex hose, so the shorter 4 ft AirFlex works when you want less hose on a small nightstand or in a tent.

Is the 3-year Micro 510 warranty transferable?

No. Transcend covers the first owner who bought the Micro 510 new from Transcend or an authorized dealer, and the warranty is void if the machine is resold outside the country where it was first bought.
