Before your first night, follow our setup guide to register the AirSense 11 with the myAir app and get step-by-step help fitting the AirFit F20.
Fill the HumidAir water tub with distilled water only, up to the max fill line, before you turn the machine on. Tap water can leave mineral deposits inside the humidifier over time.
Start with the AutoRamp setting so the machine begins at a lower pressure and rises gradually to your prescribed level as you fall asleep, instead of starting at full pressure.
If the AirFit F20 feels too tight or too loose, re-check the fit against the sizing chart on the AirFit F20 mask page before assuming you need a different size.
The AirFit F20's headgear clips are magnetic. Keep the mask at least 6 in (150 mm) away from pacemakers, defibrillators, insulin pumps, or other magnet-sensitive implants, for yourself and anyone sleeping close to you. Wash the AirFit F20 cushion and frame daily with mild soap and water, and let it air dry away from direct sunlight. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners, which can break down the silicone.
Replace the standard filter about every 2 weeks, or sooner if it looks dirty or gray. You'll find replacements in our AirSense 11 filters.
Replace the AirFit F20 cushion every 3 to 6 months, even if it still looks intact, since worn silicone loses its seal and can start leaking air.
If dry air or condensation (rainout) is an issue where you live, consider adding ClimateLineAir heated tubing later. It's a compatible upgrade for the AirSense 11, not included in this bundle.
Keep a copy of your CPAP prescription (Rx) on file. If you ever need a replacement mask or accessory, we can use the Rx already on file for your account instead of asking you to resend it.
