Returns Policy

Fit the mask in this order. Unclip the lower straps and place the cushion under your nose so it rests against your face. With the ResMed logo facing up, pull the headgear over your head, bring the lower straps behind your ears and reattach the magnetic clips. Tighten the upper straps first, then the lower bands.
Set the mask type to Pillows before night one. On the AirSense 11, select 'Pillows' as the mask setting for the AirTouch F40, even though it is a full face mask. Then run Care Check-In in the myAir app to confirm your setup before you rely on the nightly score.
Clean the cushion daily, by hand. Wash the cushion, elbow, short tube and vent ring after each use, and the headgear and frame weekly, in warm water with a mild liquid detergent. Skip the bristle brush on the fabric cushion and let it air dry out of direct sunlight.
Buy Air11 filters only. The AirSense 11 uses Air11 filters, which are not interchangeable with AirSense 10, AirCurve 10 or S9 filters. Replace yours at least every 6 months, or as often as every 2 weeks for the freshest airflow, with the AirSense 11 standard filter.
Replace each mask part on its own schedule. The US schedule, which reflects Medicare's accessory schedule, is the ComfiSoft cushion every month, the frame system every 3 months and the F40 headgear every 6 months. Our guide on when to replace CPAP supplies covers the rest of your setup.
Check the magnet warning if you have an implant. The magnets are in the frame and lower headgear clips, so keep the mask at least 6 inches (150 mm) from implants that magnets can affect. If the contraindications apply to you or a bed partner, browse full face CPAP masks without magnets.

Yes. This mask contains magnets that may interfere with certain implants or medical devices. Please refer to the User Guide for complete labeling information, including magnet contraindications and warnings. The magnets are in the frame and lower headgear clips, with a magnetic field strength of up to 400 mT. Keep the mask at least 6 inches (150 mm) away from implants or medical devices that may be affected by magnetic interference, and the same applies to anyone in close physical contact with you. It is contraindicated with active implants that interact with magnets, such as pacemakers, ICDs, neurostimulators, CSF shunts and insulin or infusion pumps, and with ferromagnetic metallic implants such as aneurysm clips or flow disruption devices, embolic coils, stents, valves, electrodes, hearing or balance implants with magnets, ocular implants and metallic splinters in the eye. The mask is MR unsafe.

In a ResMed study of 32 people, 97% rated the AirTouch F40 easy or very easy to fit and adjust, and 91% rated it comfortable or very comfortable from the first fitting. The headgear has two upper and two lower adjustment points.
