Bilevel Support for Respiratory Conditions

The AirCurve 10 ST-A is a prescription bilevel device for respiratory conditions that affect breathing, such as restrictive lung disorders, severe COPD, and hypoventilation. Its breathing sensors respond to spontaneous changes in your breathing patterns through the night, within the settings your clinician prescribes.

Ramp Down

Ramp Down gradually lowers pressure at the end of your therapy session over a fixed 15 minutes, down to the Start EPAP level, for a comfortable wind-down. It is an on or off setting.

Intelligent Backup Rate

Intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) supports your spontaneous breathing. Based on your natural breathing patterns, iBR automatically adjusts the backup rate to help keep therapy comfortable and effective.

What conditions is the AirCurve 10 ST-A used for?

It is a bilevel (ST-A) device prescribed for respiratory conditions that affect breathing, such as restrictive lung disorders, severe COPD, hypoventilation, and neuromuscular disease. Your physician decides whether it is appropriate for you and sets your therapy.

How many therapy modes does it have?

Six: CPAP, S (Spontaneous), ST (Spontaneous/Timed), T (Timed), PAC (Pressure Assist Control), and iVAPS (intelligent Volume Assured Pressure Support).

Does the AirCurve 10 ST-A have AutoEPAP?

No. This device uses a fixed EPAP set by your clinician. In iVAPS mode it automatically adjusts pressure support, not EPAP. AutoEPAP is a feature of the Lumis 150 VPAP ST-A, a different model, not the AirCurve 10 ST-A.

Is it managed through the myAir app?

No. The AirCurve 10 ST-A has built-in cellular connectivity to ResMed AirView, which your clinician uses to review and adjust your therapy. It is a clinician-managed ventilation device and is not set up through the consumer myAir app.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. Your therapy modes and pressures are prescribed and managed by your clinician.
