Important Tips

  • Select the correct cushion size (small, medium, or large) to ensure a secure seal without causing discomfort.
  • Clean the cushion daily with mild soap and warm water to remove oils and maintain hygiene; let it air dry fully before use.
  • Avoid using alcohol-based cleaners on the MicroPillows, as they can cause the material to degrade over time.
  • Replace the cushion every 30 days to maintain a good seal and reduce the risk of leaks during therapy. View replacement calendar.
  • Use CPAP wipes for quick daily cleaning, especially if you need to freshen it up during travel or after extended use.
  • Check the cushion regularly for signs of wear or deformation to ensure it continues to provide a reliable fit and seal.
  • Adjust the headgear as needed after attaching the new cushion to avoid over-tightening, which can affect the cushion’s fit and comfort.
  • Store the cushion in a cool, dry place when not in use to help maintain its shape and durability.

Product Features

Stays Secure with Movement
The cushion is designed to hold its seal even if you shift positions during the night, so you can move naturally without disrupting airflow.

Minimal Facial Contact
The cushion rests lightly in the nostrils, avoiding larger contact points on the face. This low-profile design is ideal if you prefer minimal contact or find full-coverage masks uncomfortable.

Simple to Maintain
This cushion is easy to keep clean—just a quick wipe or wash does the job, helping maintain hygiene and ensuring clear airflow each night. For extra convenience, pair it with a CPAP cleaning machine.
Nova Micro Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask Cushion Replacement

Soft MicroPillows Cushion

The cushion is designed with soft MicroPillows that gently rest in the nostrils and inflate slightly to fit the shape of your nose. This design creates a better seal for effective airflow without pressing too hard on sensitive areas.

Designed for Nova Micro

This cushion replacement is made to fit with the Nova Micro Nasal Pillows CPAP Mask. Just remove the old cushion and attach the new one, keeping your setup simple without having to readjust the mask.

Minimal Contact

With a design focused on reducing facial contact, the cushion gently rests in the nostrils without covering the entire nose or surrounding area. The minimal-contact can be helpful if you usually find full-contact masks uncomfortable.

FAQs

What is a CPAP cushion?

A CPAP cushion is the soft, replaceable part of a CPAP mask that sits against your face, creating a seal to prevent air leaks.

What is the difference between a CPAP cushion and a CPAP pillow?

A CPAP cushion refers to the mask's sealing component, while a CPAP pillow is a specially designed bed pillow that supports CPAP users by reducing mask pressure and improving comfort.

How often should I replace my CPAP cushion?

Every 1-3 months or sooner if it shows wear, loses its seal, or causes leaks.

How do I clean my CPAP cushion?

Wash daily with mild soap and warm water to remove facial oils and prevent leaks.

Can I use a different cushion on my CPAP mask?

No, cushions are mask-specific and should be replaced with the same brand and model.

Why is my CPAP cushion leaking?

Common causes include worn-out cushions, improper fit, excessive facial oils, or a dirty cushion. Try adjusting the fit or replacing the cushion.

Which CPAP cushion type is best for me?

Nasal cushions for nose breathers, full-face cushions for mouth breathers, and nasal pillows for minimal facial contact.
