Overview

This Dual-Wall Spring Air Cushion is designed for use with all Mirage FX & Mirage FX For Her CPAP and BiLevel Masks. Designed with a gel cushion coated with soft-touch frosting to provide comfort and even pressure distribution.

The unique gel cushion design coated with soft-touch frosting provides comfort with an even softer texture and reduced pressure distribution at the nasal bridge to avoid soreness, irritation and discomfort commonly felt in this sensitive area. At the front of the Mirage FX's Spring Air cushion is an in-moulded vent ring that disperses air gently and quietly away from the user and bed partners.

Features

Product Features

Spring Air Technology

ResMed's patented Spring Air technology makes your cushion lightweight and unobtrusive. Unlike some cushions, the cushion for the Mirage FX is filled with air on the inside, so it's less bulky and more comfortable than most cushions. Additionally, the gel pad won't rub up against your face, and won't leave facial blemishes.

Dual-Wall Technology

The Mirage FX's dual wall cushion has your comfort in mind. The outer membrane seals against the skin on the outside of your mouth, while the inner cushion rests comfortably on your face.

What is a CPAP cushion?

A CPAP cushion is the soft, replaceable part of a CPAP mask that sits against your face, creating a seal to prevent air leaks.

What is the difference between a CPAP cushion and a CPAP pillow?

A CPAP cushion refers to the mask's sealing component, while a CPAP pillow is a specially designed bed pillow that supports CPAP users by reducing mask pressure and improving comfort.

How often should I replace my CPAP cushion?

Every 1-3 months or sooner if it shows wear, loses its seal, or causes leaks.

How do I clean my CPAP cushion?

Wash daily with mild soap and warm water to remove facial oils and prevent leaks.

Can I use a different cushion on my CPAP mask?

No, cushions are mask-specific and should be replaced with the same brand and model.

Why is my CPAP cushion leaking?

Common causes include worn-out cushions, improper fit, excessive facial oils, or a dirty cushion. Try adjusting the fit or replacing the cushion.

Which CPAP cushion type is best for me?

Nasal cushions for nose breathers, full-face cushions for mouth breathers, and nasal pillows for minimal facial contact.
