Overview

The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet is an auto-adjusting CPAP machine for adults diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea who want a comfortable, data-connected device for nightly home use. It automatically raises or lowers pressure through the night based on your breathing, so it never delivers more pressure than necessary. A valid prescription is required to purchase a CPAP machine.

AutoRamp with SmartStart begins at a low, comfortable pressure and increases to your prescribed level once it detects that you have fallen asleep. EPR (Expiratory Pressure Relief), off or at levels 1 to 3, lowers pressure on each exhale to ease the effort of breathing against the airflow. Pressure range is 4 to 20 cm H2O, with a ramp time adjustable from 0 to 45 minutes.

This listing (SKU 37208) ships with the integrated HumidAir heated humidifier and the ClimateLineAir heated tubing included in the box. The HumidAir water chamber holds about 380 ml with an adjustable humidity level (Off or 1 to 8). The ClimateLineAir heated tube keeps the air at a consistent temperature from the machine to your mask, which helps reduce condensation (rainout) inside the tube on colder nights.

The AirSense 10 AutoSet has built-in cellular connectivity. The free myAir app gives you a nightly therapy score and detailed usage data. Therapy continues normally without Wi-Fi or cell coverage; remote data upload simply resumes once a signal is available. The device uses a color LCD screen and a control dial (not a touchscreen).

Sleeplay is an Authorized ResMed Dealer. This machine comes with a 2-Year Warranty, is FSA/HSA eligible, and financing is available through Dream Now, Pay Later. Box includes the AirSense 10 AutoSet device, HumidAir heated humidifier with water chamber, ClimateLineAir heated tubing, power supply, travel carrying bag, and user guides.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • A valid prescription is required before your order ships. Upload it during checkout or email it to Sleeplay after ordering to avoid delays.
  • Use only distilled water in the HumidAir chamber. Tap or filtered water leaves mineral deposits that can shorten the chamber's life and affect humidity output. Shop distilled water.
  • Empty the water chamber each morning and let it air dry before refilling at night. This helps prevent buildup in standing water.
  • The ClimateLineAir heated tube is already included with this machine (SKU 37208). Replace the heated tube periodically as part of routine maintenance, since the heating element wears over time. Find replacement tubes in CPAP humidifiers and tubing.
  • Replace your air filter regularly. A clogged filter reduces airflow and can increase motor noise. Shop replacement filters.
  • Download the free myAir app and connect via Bluetooth on your first night to start receiving nightly therapy scores. It also works over the built-in cellular connection, so home Wi-Fi is not required.
  • Each morning, use the color LCD screen to review your AHI and mask leak rate. A consistently high leak rate usually means the mask fit needs adjustment.
  • Not sure whether to choose the AirSense 10 or AirSense 11? Read the full AirSense 10 vs AirSense 11 comparison.
  • If you run into device alerts, rainout, or pressure discomfort, check the AirSense 10 troubleshooting guide before contacting support.
  • Need a mask? Take the Mask Finder Quiz to find a compatible fit for your sleep position and breathing style.
  • Keep your equipment clean to protect both the machine and your health. Browse CPAP cleaning supplies.

Everything you need to know about the AirSense 10

Auto-Adjusting Pressure Every Night

The AutoSet algorithm monitors your breathing and adjusts delivery pressure in real time, so you receive the minimum effective pressure needed. AutoRamp with SmartStart eases you in at a low pressure and increases only after detecting that you are asleep.

HumidAir and ClimateLineAir Included

The integrated HumidAir heated humidifier (about a 380 ml chamber) adds warmth and moisture to the airflow. SKU 37208 includes the ClimateLineAir heated tube, which keeps a consistent temperature from machine to mask and helps reduce condensation (rainout) on cold nights.

Built-In Connectivity and myAir App

A built-in cellular modem sends your nightly therapy data to the free myAir app automatically, with no manual sync and no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth pairing required. View your nightly therapy score, usage hours, and mask seal data each morning.

AutoRamp with SmartStart

Therapy starts at a low, comfortable pressure. SmartStart begins therapy automatically when you breathe into the mask, and SmartStop pauses it when you remove the mask. Ramp time is adjustable from 0 to 45 minutes.

EPR Exhale Pressure Relief

EPR reduces pressure on each exhale at levels 1, 2, or 3, or can be turned off. Lowering the resistance you breathe out against is something many users find makes therapy easier to tolerate, especially in the first weeks of use.

Quiet Easy-Breathe Motor

The manufacturer lists a sound level of approximately 27 dBA with humidification. A low operating noise level helps both the user and a bed partner sleep through nightly therapy. Actual perceived noise varies with mask, pressure, and room.

Color LCD Screen with Dial Control

The AirSense 10 AutoSet uses a color LCD screen and a physical control dial to navigate menus, review therapy data, and adjust comfort settings. It is not a touchscreen. The screen shows therapy hours, AHI, and leak rate each morning.

Automatic Altitude Adjustment

The device automatically compensates for altitude up to approximately 8,500 feet above sea level, keeping therapy consistent without manual recalibration when you travel to higher elevations.

HumidAir Heated Humidifier

The integrated HumidAir humidifier holds about 380 ml of distilled water with an adjustable humidity level (Off or 1 to 8). Added humidity helps reduce dryness in the nose and throat, a common reason people struggle to stay consistent with CPAP therapy.

ClimateLineAir Reduces Rainout

The included ClimateLineAir heated tube warms the air along the full length of the tubing, keeping it close to the humidifier's output temperature. This helps prevent condensation from forming inside the tube (rainout), a comfort issue that can disrupt sleep on cold nights.

Prescription Required

CPAP machines are regulated medical devices in the United States. A valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider is required to complete your purchase. If you do not have one yet, speak with your doctor or a sleep specialist before ordering.

2-Year Warranty and Authorized Dealer

Sleeplay sells this machine as an Authorized ResMed Dealer, and it comes with a 2-Year Warranty on the device. It is also FSA and HSA eligible, and financing is available through Dream Now, Pay Later.

Expert Tips & Videos

FAQs

Is the AirSense 10 AutoSet an auto-adjusting (APAP) or fixed-pressure CPAP?

It is auto-adjusting in AutoSet mode. The device monitors your breathing through the night and adjusts the delivered pressure between 4 and 20 cm H2O, responding to changes from sleep position, sleep stage, or congestion. It can also be set to a single fixed pressure if your prescribing physician requires that mode.

Does this machine include a humidifier?

Yes. The AirSense 10 AutoSet comes with the integrated HumidAir heated humidifier built into the device. The water chamber holds about 380 ml with an adjustable humidity level (Off or 1 to 8). You do not need to buy a separate humidifier.

What tubing is included with SKU 37208?

SKU 37208 includes the ClimateLineAir heated tube. This heated tubing keeps the air at a consistent temperature from the machine to your mask, which helps reduce condensation (rainout) on cold nights. The box also contains the AirSense 10 AutoSet device, HumidAir humidifier with water chamber, power supply, standard air filter, travel carrying bag, and user guides.

How quiet is the AirSense 10 AutoSet?

The manufacturer lists a sound level of approximately 27 dBA with humidification (about 25 to 27 dBA), using the Easy-Breathe motor. Perceived noise will vary depending on your mask type, pressure settings, and room.

What is the pressure range?

The pressure range is 4 to 20 cm H2O. In AutoSet mode the device works within that range automatically. Your prescribing physician or sleep therapist sets the minimum and maximum limits based on your sleep study and individual needs.

Do I need a prescription to buy this CPAP machine?

Yes. A valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider is required. CPAP machines are regulated medical devices in the United States, and Sleeplay requires a prescription before shipment. You can upload your prescription during checkout or send it by email after placing your order.

Does the AirSense 10 AutoSet need Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

No. The AirSense 10 AutoSet sends your therapy data to the myAir app through a built-in cellular modem, so it does not rely on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Therapy always works normally even with no signal; your data simply uploads once cellular coverage is available.

Is the AirSense 10 AutoSet FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes. CPAP machines are qualified medical expenses, so this device is eligible for purchase with FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account) funds. You can use your FSA or HSA card at checkout.

What warranty comes with this machine?

This machine comes with a 2-Year Warranty when purchased from Sleeplay as an Authorized ResMed Dealer. The warranty covers manufacturer defects under normal use. See the ResMed warranty documentation included in the box for full terms and exclusions.

Can I use the AirSense 10 AutoSet on an airplane?

Yes. ResMed states the AirSense 10 meets FAA requirements (RTCA/DO-160) for in-flight use on commercial aircraft. It is a home CPAP rather than a dedicated travel device, so notify your airline in advance, carry it in your carry-on as a medical device, and bring your prescription. Airline policies vary, so confirm the details with your carrier before you fly.

How is the AirSense 10 different from the AirSense 11?

Both machines share the same core AutoSet auto-adjusting therapy but differ in interface and some connectivity and comfort features. Neither is universally better; the right choice depends on your preferences. For a detailed, neutral comparison, see the full guide at /blogs/news/airsense-11-vs-airsense-10-which-is-the-best-for-my-sleep-apnea-treatment.

How often should I replace the filter and water chamber?

Replace the disposable air filter regularly, at least every six months, or sooner if it looks dirty or blocked, since a clogged filter reduces airflow and can increase noise. Inspect the water chamber regularly and replace it if you notice discoloration or scaling. Using only distilled water helps extend the chamber's life. Shop replacement filters at /collections/cpap-filters.

Can I use the AirSense 10 AutoSet internationally?

Yes. The power supply is auto-sensing and accepts 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 Hz, so it works on international voltages with the correct plug adapter and no separate voltage converter. Cellular data upload may not be available in every country, but your therapy is unaffected.

Can I use the AirSense 10 without the humidifier?

Yes. You can run the AirSense 10 AutoSet with humidification turned off or with an empty water tub if you prefer therapy without added moisture. Many users keep light humidification to reduce dryness in the nose and throat, but it is optional.

Can I run the AirSense 10 AutoSet on a battery or 12V power?

Not directly from a 12V socket. The AirSense 10 uses a 24V DC power system, so ResMed offers the Air10 DC/DC converter to run the machine from a 12V or 24V vehicle, boat, or RV outlet, and the ResMed Power Station II as a compatible backup battery. The machine has no integrated battery. Using the humidifier and heated tubing on battery power increases consumption, so many travelers turn humidification off to extend runtime. Both accessories require the standard 90W power setup as the home base.

How much does the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet cost?

The current price is shown on this page and includes the complete package: the AirSense 10 AutoSet device, the integrated HumidAir heated humidifier, and the ClimateLineAir heated tube, so there is nothing extra to buy except a mask. The machine is FSA and HSA eligible, and financing is available at checkout. Because we are an Authorized ResMed Dealer, the 2-year manufacturer warranty applies.

Does the AirSense 10 AutoSet come with a mask?

No. Like all CPAP machines, the AirSense 10 AutoSet is sold without a mask, and ResMed confirms the purchase does not include one. The box contains the machine, HumidAir humidifier with water chamber, ClimateLineAir heated tubing, power supply, air filter, and travel bag. You will need a compatible CPAP mask with a standard tubing connection; nasal, nasal pillow, and full face masks all work with this machine.

Can I adjust the pressure on the AirSense 10 AutoSet myself?

The therapy pressure range is set by your prescribing physician or sleep therapist based on your sleep study, and in AutoSet mode the machine adjusts automatically within those limits. What you can change yourself, in the My Options menu, are the comfort settings: Ramp Time (Off, 5 to 45 minutes, or Auto), Humidity Level (Off or 1 to 8), and Pressure Relief when your provider has enabled it. If you feel your pressure is too high or too low, talk to your care provider rather than changing therapy settings.
