Power it with two AA batteries when you are away from an outlet, or connect the included USB cord at home, at your desk, or in the car. It is not rechargeable, so keep spare AA batteries on hand for longer trips.

Instead of a loud compressor, the NEB400 uses a vibrating mesh that runs quietly and produces an aerosol with a particle size of about 5 microns for easy inhalation. Hold the device upright during treatment so the mist keeps flowing.

There is a single power button and one treatment mode. Fill the medication cup, press once to start, and the device runs and then shuts off on its own after 30 minutes. Most treatments finish well before that, so there is nothing to watch.

The box includes a mouthpiece and both an adult and a pediatric mask, so it works for more than one person and for children ages 5 and up with adult supervision. Everyone can pick the interface that feels most comfortable.

After each treatment, rinse the medication cup, mesh, and mouthpiece with distilled water and run the device with distilled water for a minute or two to clear the mesh. The medication cup can be boiled to disinfect it. Do not use alcohol on the unit or put it in a dishwasher or microwave.

The NEB400 is made to deliver the liquid medications your doctor prescribes, for ages 5 and up. It is not intended for use with Pentamidine. A prescription is required, so follow your provider's guidance on which medication and dose are right for you.
