Overview
These ultra-fine filters are specifically designed for all F&P SleepStyle Auto CPAP Machines. Disposable in nature, it is recommended to regularly replace the filters when they appear soiled or discolored for optimal performance.
Located at the rear of the F&P SleepStyle Sleep Therapy Device, the Ultra Fine Air Filter should be replaced at least once every 3 months. If it becomes blocked with dirt or dust, more frequent replacement is recommended. Always use the recommended air filter and refer to the documentation for instructions.
Compatibility
Compatible with F&P SleepStyle Auto CPAP Machine (2018 Model).
CPAP filters trap dust, allergens, and airborne particles, preventing them from entering the machine and your airways.
Are all CPAP filters the same?
No, there are two main types:
- Disposable filters (made of paper or synthetic fibers, replaced every 2-4 weeks)
- Reusable filters (washable foam filters, replaced every 3-6 months)
How often should I replace my CPAP filter?
Disposable filters: Every 2-4 weeks or sooner if dirty.
Reusable filters: Wash weekly and replace every 3-6 months.
Can I clean and reuse a disposable CPAP filter?
No, disposable filters are designed for one-time use and should be replaced, not cleaned.
What happens if I don’t change my CPAP filter?
A dirty filter can reduce air quality, block airflow, and strain the machine, potentially causing damage.
How do I know when my CPAP filter needs changing?
If you notice discoloration, dust buildup, a musty smell, or reduced airflow, it’s time to replace the filter.
Do CPAP filters help with allergies?
Yes, ultra-fine filters help trap allergens like pollen and dust mites, improving air quality for users with allergies.
