Pilot Flex Battery Guide

Returns Policy

Fully charge the battery before initial use to maximize its runtime and performance.
Use only the correct cables for your specific CPAP machine to avoid compatibility or power issues.
Monitor the LED charge indicators to ensure the battery is sufficiently charged before travel or power outages.
Recharge the battery regularly, even if it’s not in use, to prevent it from discharging completely and maintaining its health.
If using in a power outage, disable humidification and heated tubing on your CPAP to extend the battery runtime.
For longer trips or emergencies, consider carrying an additional fully charged Pilot Flex battery for backup power.
Clean the battery’s ports and connectors with a dry cloth periodically to ensure proper connectivity.
Check airline regulations before flying to confirm you can bring the battery onboard, and carry it in your hand luggage.
Use the included carrying case or a padded bag to protect the battery during transport, especially on rugged trips.
Avoid exposing the battery to high heat, direct sunlight, or freezing temperatures, which can affect performance.
Regularly inspect the cables and connections for damage, replacing worn-out accessories promptly.
For added runtime efficiency, use low CPAP pressure settings when possible and consult your provider for travel adjustments.
If the battery enters standby mode, press the multi-function button to restart it for continued use.

Medistrom Pilot Flex Travel CPAP Battery

Aluminum Casing

The aluminum construction improves heat dissipation, keeping the battery cool during operation. It’s also corrosion-resistant and more durable than standard plastic casings, providing reliable long-term performance.

Dual Voltage Compatibility

The Pilot Flex CPAP Battery is engineered to support both 12V and 24V CPAP devices without requiring manual adjustments. It detects the connected machine’s voltage automatically.

Compact Size and Lightweight Design

At 1.2 pounds and 5.8 x 3.5 x 1 inches, the Pilot Flex is highly portable and practical for travel. Its compact form reduces bulk and makes it easy to pack, carry, or store.

Clear Status Indicators

Four LED lights display the charge level in increments, while a separate voltage indicator confirms whether the battery is supplying 12V or 24V power.

Simple to Use

The battery is controlled with a single multi-function button, which turns the unit on, checks charge levels, and restarts the device if it’s in standby mode.

Minimal Maintenance

The battery requires no special maintenance other than regular charging. LED indicators simplify monitoring for power levels, and the durable aluminum casing adds an extra layer of protection.

Multiple Recharging Options

The Pilot Flex has several ways to recharge: with your CPAP’s AC adapter, a USB-C port for easy travel, a car charger for road trips, or a solar panel when you're off the grid.
