Overview

The Wisp is for people who want barely any mask on their face. Its tip-of-nose cushion sits below the bridge with very little contact, so your line of sight stays open for reading or glasses, and the whole mask disappears into a corner of your travel kit.

You can pick a clear silicone frame or a soft, reversible fabric frame, and the Fit Pack brings multiple cushion sizes to dial in before you go. We pair it with the Luna TravelPAP, an auto-adjusting machine that is light in the bag, ready for the plane, and simple to run from your phone.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Fit the Wisp lying down in your actual sleep position before your first night. Place the cushion below the nose bridge at the tip of the nose, then connect the headgear clips. The cushion inflates with air pressure to form the seal, so you do not need to tighten the headgear aggressively.
  • If you notice leaks, try repositioning the cushion slightly lower rather than tightening the headgear. Overtightening is the most common cause of persistent leaks with this mask. A properly fitted Wisp holds its seal with light headgear tension.
  • Try all three included cushion sizes before settling on one. Fit differences between Small/Medium, Large, and Extra Large can be subtle but meaningful for seal quality. If none seal well, the Petite size is available separately.
  • The Wisp uses magnetic headgear clips. Keep the mask at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from pacemakers, implanted defibrillators (ICDs), neurostimulators, CSF shunts, insulin or infusion pumps, certain metallic stents and aneurysm clips, and metallic eye implants. This applies to you and to anyone who sleeps near you. If this is a concern, ask your doctor or order the non-magnetic replacement clips.
  • Download the free LightTrip app and pair it with the machine over Bluetooth before your first night. The machine has no screen, so the app is where you start and stop therapy, adjust the ramp, run a mask fit check, and review your reports. The light ring on the machine shows status at a glance.
  • Rinse the cushion and frame daily with warm water and mild soap, and let all parts air dry completely before reassembling. Do not use ozone cleaners or alcohol-based products on the cushion or frame.
  • Replace the Wisp cushion every 1 to 3 months depending on wear. A cushion that has lost firmness or shows visible cracking will not hold a seal reliably. Keep a spare on hand so a worn cushion does not interrupt your therapy.
  • Check the disposable filter weekly and replace it about every 6 months. Three filters come in the box, and replacement filters are available when you run low.
  • The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for use on board (RTCA DO-160), and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline if asked. Pack the letter with the machine, and double click the Bluetooth button to switch on airplane mode before takeoff. Airline rules can vary, so confirm your carrier's policy before you fly. At your destination, the machine operates at elevations up to 7,500 feet.
  • Use the included storage bag to keep the machine, tube, and mask together between trips. A dedicated Luna TravelPAP carrying case is available separately, and a spare AC power adapter means you never have to unplug the one at home.
  • This bundle pairs the mask with the same machine we sell on its own. For the machine's full specs, visit the Luna TravelPAP page, or compare other mask pairings in our travel bundles.

Product Features

See Clearly While You Fall Asleep

The Wisp skips forehead support altogether, so nothing blocks your view. Read, watch TV, or put your glasses on before bed without a pad pressing against your forehead.

A Cushion That Sits Below Your Nose

The tip-of-the-nose cushion seals below your nose bridge instead of across it, so there's less pressure on the spot where masks usually leave marks.

Three Cushion Sizes to Find Your Fit

Every pack includes Small/Medium, Large, and Extra Large cushions, so you can try each one and keep whichever seals best instead of guessing from a chart.

Magnetic Headgear Clips: Keep Away From Implanted Devices

The Wisp uses magnetic headgear clips. Keep the mask at least 6 inches away from pacemakers, ICDs, neurostimulators, and other implanted devices. This applies to you and to anyone who sleeps near you. See our tips and FAQs for more detail.

Light and Compact With an Open Sightline All Night

The low-profile frame sits close to your face without bulk, so it rests comfortably against a pillow for side sleepers. Your visual field stays wide open, which means you can read, wear glasses during a ramp-up period, or watch something before you fall asleep without the mask cutting into your line of sight.

Auto Pressure That Follows You Anywhere

In auto mode the machine reads your breathing and adjusts pressure through the night, at home or three time zones away. Fixed CPAP mode is available when your prescription calls for a set pressure.

No Screen, No Clutter, Just a Light Ring and an App

The Luna TravelPAP hands its controls to the free LightTrip app over Bluetooth: start, stop, ramp, mask fit check, and reports. On the machine, a light ring shows white when therapy is running and orange when something needs attention.

Quiet for a Travel Machine

The Luna TravelPAP runs quietly for its size, and real-world sound still varies with your pressure setting, mask fit, and the room. Give it a night or two at home first, so you know exactly what to expect on the road.

Ready for Outlets Around the World

The power supply accepts 100 to 240V, so international trips only need a plug adapter, not a converter. For car camping or RV nights, a separate DC adapter runs the machine from a vehicle outlet.

FAQs

Does the Wisp cushion touch the nose bridge?

No. The Wisp cushion seals at the tip of the nose and sits below the bridge, so there is no contact with the nose bridge itself. This is the main reason people who have had redness or pressure marks from other nasal masks choose the Wisp.

Does the Wisp have magnets, and is it safe with a pacemaker or implant?

Yes, the Wisp uses magnetic headgear clips, so it is not magnet-free. Keep the magnets at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from pacemakers, defibrillators (ICDs), neurostimulators, CSF shunts, insulin or infusion pumps, certain metallic stents and aneurysm clips, and metallic eye implants. This applies to you and to anyone who sleeps near you. Non-magnetic replacement clips are available separately if you need them, or talk to your doctor or choose a magnet-free mask.

Which Wisp frame should I choose: clear silicone or fabric?

Both frames use the same cushion and headgear. The clear silicone frame is translucent and less visible when worn. The fabric frame is reversible, with a soft suedette side and a silky sateen side. Side sleepers often prefer the fabric frame because the soft texture rests more comfortably against a pillow. The choice is personal: the fit and seal are the same either way.

What sizes are included, and how do I find my fit?

The Wisp Fit Pack in this bundle includes Small/Medium, Large, and Extra Large cushions. Try each size to find the one that seals well without overtightening the headgear. A Petite cushion is available separately.

Is the Wisp good for side sleepers?

Yes. The low-profile cushion sits below the nose bridge and leaves the cheek largely free, so it rests against a pillow without the bulk of a traditional nasal mask. The fabric frame option adds a soft texture that makes it more comfortable on a pillow. Fit the mask lying down in your actual sleep position before your first night.

How do I clean the Wisp?

Disassemble the mask and hand wash all parts daily in warm water with mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and let all parts air dry completely before reassembling. Do not use ozone-based cleaners or alcohol on the cushion or frame. Replace the cushion every 1 to 3 months depending on wear.

What is included in this bundle?

The bundle includes the Luna TravelPAP travel CPAP machine, its slim travel tube, a storage bag, three disposable filters, the AC power adapter, the user and quick start guides, and the Wisp Nasal mask in the size you select. No additional purchases are required to start therapy.

Do I need a prescription, and is the bundle FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes to both. The Luna TravelPAP is a prescription device, so a valid Rx is required, and the bundle is FSA and HSA eligible. If your prescription has lapsed, contact us and we will point you to options for renewing it.

What warranty comes with the bundle, and can I fly with it?

The Luna TravelPAP carries a 2-year machine warranty, and the Wisp carries the Philips manufacturer mask warranty, so the two are covered separately. The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for use on board (RTCA DO-160), and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline if asked.

Does the Luna TravelPAP have a humidifier?

No. The Luna TravelPAP does not include a humidifier, and there is no water chamber to fill or pack. That is part of how it stays so small and light. If nightly humidification is essential to your comfort, a home machine remains the better everyday pick, and the TravelPAP can cover your trips.

How do I control the machine if it has no screen?

Through the free LightTrip app for iOS and Android, which connects over Bluetooth. The app starts and stops therapy, adjusts the ramp, runs a mask fit check, and shows your nightly and weekly reports. On the machine itself, a light ring shows status at a glance: white means therapy is running, orange means something needs attention.
