Overview

The Pico keeps things small and simple for nasal breathers, which makes it a natural travel partner. Its dual-wall cushion rests at the tip of your nose without blocking your nostrils, the see-through forehead support keeps everything steady in an unfamiliar bed, and it takes up almost no room in a suitcase.

We pair it with the Luna TravelPAP, a palm-sized machine that adjusts your pressure for you, meets FAA requirements for the flight there, and runs from a free app on your phone. Together they make a kit you can grab on the way out the door and set up in minutes.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Fit the Pico lying down in your usual sleep position. The headgear should feel loose and comfortable; if red marks appear on your face after a night of use, loosen the straps before your next session.
  • If you ordered the Fit Pack, test each cushion size before committing. The cushion should span the width of your nose without blocking the nostrils. The top of the cushion sits between the bridge and tip of your nose, not up against the bridge.
  • If you wake with leaks, try a different cushion size before tightening the headgear. Overtightening the Pico almost always makes leaks worse. Re-seat the cushion by pulling it gently away from your face and setting it back into place.
  • The Pico is for nasal breathers only. If you breathe through your mouth at night or wake with a dry mouth, add a chin strap (sold separately) to keep your mouth closed.
  • Hand-wash the frame, cushion, and elbow daily with warm water and liquid dish soap. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling. Do not use bleach, alcohol, or cleaning solutions containing conditioners or moisturizers.
  • Replace the Pico cushion approximately every six months, or sooner if you notice cracking, persistent leaks after refitting, or a visible loss of softness. Replacement cushions are sold separately in S/M, L, and XL.
  • Download the free LightTrip app and pair it over Bluetooth before your first night away. The machine has no screen, so the app is the easiest way to start therapy, adjust the ramp, and run a mask fit check.
  • Flying? Keep the machine in your carry-on, switch it to airplane mode with a double click of the Bluetooth button, and bring the FAA compliance letter in case your airline asks for documentation. Confirm your carrier's CPAP policy before you travel.
  • Check the disposable machine filter weekly and replace it about every 6 months. It is not washable. The box includes 3 filters, and replacement filters are available when you run out.
  • The power supply accepts 100-240V, so it works on outlets worldwide with a simple plug-shape adapter. For car or RV trips, the DC adapter is made for vehicle use.
  • Wipe the machine down with a damp cloth and let it dry before packing it into the included storage bag. There is no water chamber to empty, so cleanup takes seconds.

Product Features

Minimal Contact With Your Face

The cushion seals at just the tip of your nose instead of covering the bridge or sides, so there is less material touching your skin overnight. Fewer contact points mean fewer pressure marks and a lighter feel than a full nasal mask.

Open View for Reading or Glasses

There is no forehead-support arm crossing your face, so your line of sight stays clear. You can read, watch TV, or keep your glasses on right up until you fall asleep.

Three Cushion Sizes Plus a Fit Pack

Choose Small/Medium, Large, or Extra Large, all of which snap onto the same universal frame. If you are unsure of your size, the Fit Pack includes all three cushions so you can try each one at home.

Five Parts That Are Fast to Clean and Easy to Reassemble

The Pico comes apart into just five pieces: frame, cushion, headgear, clip, and elbow. The non-fabric parts can be hand-washed daily or run through the top dishwasher shelf once a week. Fewer pieces means faster reassembly each night, which matters even more when you are packing and unpacking.

Five Adjustment Points for a Personalized Fit

The headgear has five fabric tabs you can tune independently: two on the top straps, two on the bottom straps, and one crown strap. Fit it loosely at first. If you wake with red marks, the headgear is too tight, not too loose.

Best for Nasal Breathers Who Want Less Mask on Their Face

The Pico suits side sleepers, people with beards or smaller faces, and anyone who feels confined in larger masks. Mouth breathers need a chin strap or a different mask style to keep the seal effective.

Your Pressure, Handled Automatically

The Luna TravelPAP runs in AutoCPAP mode, raising and lowering pressure through the night based on what your breathing needs. Reslex exhalation relief softens the airflow when you breathe out, and the auto ramp eases you into therapy so falling asleep in a new place stays comfortable.

Control Everything From the Free LightTrip App

The machine has no screen to fiddle with. The free LightTrip app connects over Bluetooth and handles start and stop, ramp, a mask fit check, and your nightly therapy reports. A light ring on the device shows status at a glance.

Cleared to Fly, With the Paperwork to Prove It

The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for in-flight use, and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline. Airplane mode is a double click of the Bluetooth button. To use it during a flight you need an AC outlet at your seat and your airline's approval, since React Health does not offer a battery for this machine.

FAQs

What is the Pico cushion, and how does it fit on the nose?

The Pico uses a dual-wall silicone cushion that sits between the bridge and the tip of the nose without blocking the nostrils. It is a tube-in-front nasal mask, meaning the hose connects at the front of the frame rather than at the top of the head. A compact, see-through forehead support connects the headgear to the frame for stability throughout the night.

Which Pico cushion size do I need?

The Pico cushion comes in three sizes: Small/Medium, Large, and Extra Large. The cushion should fit the width of your nose without blocking the nostrils. If you are unsure, order the Fit Pack, which includes all three sizes so you can test each at home. One headgear size works with all three cushion sizes.

Is the Pico safe for people with pacemakers or implanted devices?

The Pico Nasal has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you. The Pico contains no magnets in any part of its assembly. The FDA precautionary guidance about magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and similar devices does not apply to this mask. If you have an implanted medical device, ask your doctor about your specific device.

Can I use the Pico if I breathe through my mouth at night?

No, not without an accessory. The Pico covers only the nose, so mouth breathing breaks the seal and reduces therapy effectiveness. A chin strap can help keep your mouth closed if you occasionally breathe through your mouth. If you are a consistent mouth breather, a full-face or hybrid mask is a better fit.

How do I clean the Pico, and can I put it in the dishwasher?

Hand-wash the non-fabric parts daily in warm water with liquid dish soap, then air dry completely before use. The non-fabric parts (frame, cushion, and elbow) can also be placed on the top shelf of the dishwasher once a week using liquid dishwasher detergent. Do not put the headgear in the dishwasher. Lay fabric parts flat or line dry.

Can I take the Luna TravelPAP on a plane?

The Pico Nasal has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you. The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for in-flight use, and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline if asked. A double click of the Bluetooth button turns on airplane mode. Airline policies can vary, so confirm your carrier's CPAP rules before you fly.

Does the Luna TravelPAP include a humidifier?

No. The Luna TravelPAP does not include humidification, which is part of how it stays so small and light. It also means there is no water to pack, fill, or empty on the road. If you rely on heated humidification at home and are prone to dryness, keep your home machine for nightly use and treat this one as your travel setup.

How do I adjust settings without a screen?

Through the free LightTrip app, which connects over Bluetooth on iOS and Android. The app handles start and stop, ramp, a mask fit check, therapy reports, and reminders. On the device itself, a light ring shows status: white during therapy and orange for an alert.

How often do I replace the machine filter?

Check the disposable filter weekly and replace it about every 6 months. It is not washable. The box includes 3 filters, so you are covered for a long stretch of trips before you need replacements.

What comes in the bundle?

You get the Luna TravelPAP travel CPAP machine with its slim travel tube, storage bag, three disposable filters, AC power adapter, and user and quick start guides, plus the Pico Nasal mask in the size you select. Together they are a complete setup, ready for your first night.

Do I need a prescription, and is the bundle FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes to both. The Luna TravelPAP is a prescription device, so a valid Rx is required, and the bundle is FSA and HSA eligible. If your prescription has lapsed, contact us and we will point you to options for renewing it.

What warranty comes with the bundle?

The Luna TravelPAP carries a 2-year machine warranty, and the Pico carries the 90-day Philips manufacturer mask warranty, so the two are covered separately. The machine is also latex-free, as are all of its included parts and accessories.
