Overview

The Nuance Pro cushions your nostrils with a soft gel ring instead of silicone. Every pillow size comes in the box, so you can dial in your fit at home before the trip, with no second order and no guesswork on the road.

You also choose your frame: silicone with soft gel cheek pads, or an all-fabric frame that is gentler still. We pair it with the Luna TravelPAP, an auto-adjusting machine so small that packing it never becomes the reason therapy stays home.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Test all three gel pillow sizes before settling on one. The right size seals snugly around the nostrils without pressing into the nasal passage or leaving a visible gap at the sides. All three sizes are in the box.
  • Fit the mask lying down in your usual sleep position. The gel ring conforms under therapy pressure, so allow the machine to reach your working pressure before deciding whether the seal feels right.
  • If you wake with leaks, try a different pillow size before tightening the headgear. The open three-point headgear is designed to hold with a light fit, and overtightening almost always makes leaks worse.
  • Use the over-the-head hose routing if you move a lot during the night. Feed the hose through the loop on the headgear crown to reduce hose pull on the seal when you shift from side to side.
  • Download the free LightTrip app and pair it with the machine over Bluetooth before your first night. The machine has no screen, so the app is where you start and stop therapy, adjust the ramp, run a mask fit check, and review your reports. The light ring on the machine shows status at a glance.
  • Rinse the gel pillow cushions, frame, and headgear daily with warm water and mild soap, and let all parts air dry before reassembling. Do not put any Nuance Pro components in the dishwasher.
  • Replace the gel pillow cushions approximately every 3 months or sooner if you notice persistent leaks, softness loss, or visible wear. Replacement cushions are sold separately.
  • Check the disposable filter weekly and replace it about every 6 months. Three filters come in the box, and replacement filters are available when you run low.
  • The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for use on board (RTCA DO-160), and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline if asked. Pack the letter with the machine, and double click the Bluetooth button to switch on airplane mode before takeoff. Airline rules can vary, so confirm your carrier's policy before you fly. At your destination, the machine operates at elevations up to 7,500 feet.
  • The power supply accepts 100 to 240V, so international outlets only call for a plug adapter. For car, camper, or RV trips, the DC adapter runs the machine from a vehicle outlet, and our power solutions collection has more options for the road.
  • This bundle pairs the mask with the same machine we sell on its own. For the machine's full specs, visit the Luna TravelPAP page, or compare other mask pairings in our travel bundles.

Product Features

Flexible Fit for Different Nose Shapes

The Nuance Pro Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask includes three nasal pillow sizes—Small, Medium, and Large—ensuring a snug and comfortable fit for different nostril shapes and sizes.

Gel Nasal Pillows for Comfort

The gel nasal pillows adapt to the contours of your nostrils, reducing pressure and irritation. The soft gel rings provide a gentle yet secure seal that feels natural and non-intrusive.

Minimal Contact Design

The mask’s lightweight and compact design reduces facial contact, making it a good option for those prone to discomfort or feeling claustrophobic during therapy.

Open Design That Stays Clear of Glasses and Forehead

The Nuance Pro has no forehead bar, no bridge support, and no magnets anywhere in the assembly. The open three-point headgear leaves your full visual field clear, so glasses wearers can put the mask on and take it off without adjusting the frame. The Nuance Pro has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you.

Sleep in Any Position Without Hose Pull

The short tube connects at the front through a 360-degree swivel elbow that rotates as you shift positions. If you move a lot during the night, you can also route the hose up and over your head using the loop on the headgear crown. Either path reduces tension on the gel seal when you roll side to side.

Same Auto Therapy, Smaller Machine

In auto mode the Luna TravelPAP adjusts pressure to your breathing all night, so travel does not mean settling for less capable therapy. It is small and light enough that packing it is never in question.

Cleared to Fly, Simple to Prove

The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for use on board (RTCA DO-160), and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline if asked. Airplane mode is a double click of the Bluetooth button. To use it during a flight you need an AC outlet at your seat and your airline's approval, since React Health does not offer a battery for this machine.

Breathing Out Stays Easy

Reslex exhalation relief lowers the resistance you feel on each exhale, and the auto ramp opens the night gently. The gel pillows up front and the softer airflow behind them make for a calmer start to sleep.

No Water, No Extra Kit to Pack

The machine runs dry: nothing to fill, spill, or dry out. Cleaning is a damp cloth, and the disposable filter lasts about six months, with three in the box to start you off.

FAQs

What makes the Nuance Pro different from a standard nasal pillow mask?

The main difference is the cushion material. The Nuance Pro uses gel nasal pillows with a soft urethane gel ring rather than silicone. The gel conforms around the nostril opening and tends to feel more forgiving, especially at higher therapy pressures where a firmer silicone pillow can create discomfort. All three sizes (Small, Medium, Large) come in the box, so no separate Fit Pack is needed.

Which pillow size do I need?

All three sizes come in the box, so you can test Small, Medium, and Large at home and keep whichever seals best. There is no need to guess at checkout or order additional sizes separately. Replacement pillows for the size you choose are sold individually.

What is the difference between the silicone frame and the fabric frame?

The silicone frame adds gel cheek pads along the sides of the face for a cooler, more stable contact. The all-fabric frame replaces those with soft material throughout for the lightest possible feel against the skin. Both use the same gel pillow cushions and connect to the same headgear, so the choice comes down to which contact texture you prefer.

Can I use the Nuance Pro if I breathe through my mouth at night?

No, not without an accessory. The Nuance Pro covers only the nose, so mouth breathing breaks the seal and reduces therapy effectiveness. A chin strap can help keep your mouth closed if you breathe through your mouth occasionally. If you are a consistent mouth breather, a full-face or hybrid mask is a better fit.

Is the Nuance Pro safe if I have a pacemaker or implanted device?

The Nuance Pro has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you. The Nuance Pro contains no magnets in any part of its assembly. It uses fabric and Velcro clips for closure rather than magnetic snaps. The FDA precautionary guidance about magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and similar devices does not apply to this mask. If you have an implanted medical device, ask your doctor about your specific device.

How often do I replace the gel pillow cushions?

Replace the gel pillow cushions approximately every 3 months under regular use. Visible wear, persistent leaks after refitting, or a noticeable loss of gel softness are all signs a replacement is due. Replacement pillows are sold separately.

What do I get in this bundle?

Two products arrive in this bundle: the Luna TravelPAP travel CPAP machine, packed with its slim travel tube, storage bag, three disposable filters, AC power adapter, and user and quick start guides, and the Nuance Pro Nasal Pillow mask in the size you select.

Do I need a prescription, and is the bundle FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes to both. The Luna TravelPAP is a prescription device, so a valid Rx is required, and the bundle is FSA and HSA eligible. If your prescription has lapsed, contact us and we will point you to options for renewing it.

What warranty comes with the bundle, and can I fly with it?

The Luna TravelPAP carries a 2-year machine warranty, and the mask carries the Philips manufacturer mask warranty, so the two are covered separately. The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for use on board (RTCA DO-160), and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline if asked.

Does the Luna TravelPAP have a humidifier?

No. The Luna TravelPAP does not include a humidifier, and there is no water chamber to fill or pack. That is part of how it stays so small and light. If nightly humidification is essential to your comfort, a home machine remains the better everyday pick, and the TravelPAP can cover your trips.

How do I control the machine if it has no screen?

Through the free LightTrip app for iOS and Android, which connects over Bluetooth. The app starts and stops therapy, adjusts the ramp, runs a mask fit check, and shows your nightly and weekly reports. On the machine itself, a light ring shows status at a glance: white means therapy is running, orange means something needs attention.
