Important Tips

  • Use the F&P myMask app to find your correct Vitera cushion size before the mask arrives. The app includes a fit-check guide that walks you through measurements at home.
  • Fit the Vitera lying down in your sleep position with your mouth slightly open. This lets the RollFit XT cushion set its seal in the actual position you sleep in before you adjust the headgear straps.
  • Tighten the headgear just enough to stop leaks. The stability bar holds the seal without heavy strap tension, so overtightening is one of the most common causes of both leaks and pressure marks on the skin.
  • If you are ordering the Fit Pack, start with the Medium cushion on your first night. Medium fits most people, and you can switch to Small or Large if the initial seal is off.
  • Rinse the cushion and frame daily with warm water and mild soap, and let all parts air dry completely before reassembling. Avoid direct sunlight when drying, as UV breaks down the silicone faster.
  • Replace the Vitera cushion every one to three months depending on wear, and keep a spare on hand so a worn cushion does not interrupt a trip.
  • Replace the machine's disposable filter about every 6 months and check it weekly while traveling. The box includes three filters, and replacements come in two-packs.
  • The Vitera is the right mask if you breathe through your mouth or have congestion. If you breathe only through your nose and want a smaller footprint, browse our nasal and nasal pillow options.
  • Before a flight, double click the Bluetooth button for airplane mode and keep the FAA compliance letter with your boarding documents. Airline policies vary, so check with your carrier first.
