Overview

When nasal masks leak and standard full face masks rub your nose raw, the FitLife is the mask that still seals, at home or away. It seals around the outer edge of your face and covers your nose and mouth, with nothing resting on your nose bridge and a clear faceplate you can see right through.

That makes it worth trying for full beards, dentures, facial features that are hard to seal, or skin that has broken down on the bridge. We pair it with the Luna TravelPAP so that hard-won fit can go wherever you do: a compact 14.1 oz machine that adjusts pressure automatically, meets FAA requirements, and runs from a free app on your phone.

Guide and Resources

Important Tips

  • Fit the FitLife lying down in your usual sleep position. The perimeter seal needs to seat against the outer edge of your face with even contact all the way around before you start therapy.
  • The FitLife works best for back sleepers. If you sleep primarily on your side, the larger frame makes it difficult to maintain the perimeter seal against a pillow.
  • If you wake with leaks, check the seal boundary all the way around the perimeter before you tighten the headgear. Overtightening almost always makes leaks worse, not better, with a perimeter seal design.
  • The snap clips and EZ peel tabs are designed for quick release and reattachment. Use them rather than loosening the headgear each time you need to remove the mask briefly during the night.
  • Wash the mask frame, silicone cushion, clear faceplate, and headgear daily with warm water and mild soap, then air dry fully before reassembling. Avoid soaps with antibacterial agents or added lotion, as these break down silicone over time.
  • Replace the FitLife mask when the perimeter seal starts to soften, crack, or leak consistently after refitting. Replace the FitLife when the seal starts to soften, crack, or keep leaking after refitting. The cushion and seal are a single piece, so there is no separate cushion to swap.
  • Download the free LightTrip app and pair it over Bluetooth before your first night away. The machine has no screen, so the app is the easiest way to start therapy, adjust the ramp, and run a mask fit check.
  • Flying? Keep the machine in your carry-on, switch it to airplane mode with a double click of the Bluetooth button, and bring the FAA compliance letter in case your airline asks for documentation. Confirm your carrier's CPAP policy before you travel.
  • Check the disposable machine filter weekly and replace it about every 6 months. It is not washable. The box includes 3 filters, and replacement filters are available when you run out.
  • Wipe the machine down with a damp cloth and let it dry before packing it into the included storage bag. There is no water chamber to empty, so cleanup takes seconds.
  • The included storage bag protects the machine between uses. If you want more structure and room for the tubing and power supply, a dedicated carrying case is available.

Product Features

Total Face Coverage for Sensitive Features

The FitLife Total Face Mask creates a seal around the entire face, eliminating pressure on the nose and cheeks. This design is ideal for users with sensitive nasal bridges, facial hair, or dentures.

Open and Comfortable Design

With minimal contact at the center of the face and no forehead support, the mask provides an open, non-restrictive feel, reducing claustrophobic sensations and improving comfort during use.

Versatile for Different Face Shapes

Available in two sizes, Small and Large, the mask accommodates a range of facial structures, providing a reliable fit for diverse users.

Breathe Through Your Nose or Mouth, Either Works

The FitLife covers both, so switching between nasal and mouth breathing during the night never breaks the seal. If a chin strap has been part of your routine, you can leave it at home along with the worry.

Therapy That Fits in One Hand

The Luna TravelPAP packs full auto-adjusting pressure into a machine you can palm, with slim tubing and a storage bag included. A mask built for hard-to-fit faces plus a machine built for small bags means the whole system finally travels.

Meets FAA Requirements, With a Letter to Prove It

The machine is compliant for use during flight, and an official letter is available to show your airline if they ask. Airplane mode is a double click of the Bluetooth button. To use it during a flight you need an AC outlet at your seat and your airline's approval, since React Health does not offer a battery for this machine.

App Control From Your Nightstand

The free LightTrip app connects over Bluetooth to start and stop therapy, set the ramp, run a mask fit check, and review nightly reports. With no screen on the machine, everything lives on the phone you already carry.

Low Maintenance Wherever You Are

Upkeep amounts to a damp-cloth wipe down and a disposable filter that lasts about 6 months, with 3 included in the box. There is no water chamber to clean, so the machine is always ready to go back in the bag.

FAQs

Who is the FitLife designed for, and when should I consider a different mask?

The FitLife is for people who cannot get a reliable seal with a nasal mask, a nasal pillow, or a standard full face mask. Full beards, dentures, a deviated septum, facial irregularities, or skin breakdown on the nose bridge are the most common reasons. It also suits people who feel claustrophobic in more enclosed masks, since the clear faceplate keeps your field of view open. If a standard full face mask fits you well, browse our mask collection for options that may feel lighter.

How is a total face mask different from a standard full face mask?

A standard full face mask seals around the nose and mouth, with contact on the nose bridge and cheeks. A total face mask like the FitLife seals around the outer edge of the face instead of on the nose bridge, so people with bridge soreness or hard-to-seal features can avoid that contact point. This matters for people where the bridge and cheek contact points are the source of leaks, pressure sores, or poor fit.

Which FitLife size do I need?

The FitLife comes in Small and Large. Sizing is based on the overall dimensions of your face. A good fit means the perimeter seal seats fully against the outer edge of your face without gaps and without pressing into soft facial tissue at the seal boundary. If you are between sizes, most users find it helpful to try both at a DME or consult a CPAP fitting specialist before ordering.

Is the FitLife good for side sleepers?

The FitLife is primarily suited for back sleepers. The perimeter seal and larger frame make it harder to maintain an even seal when your face is pressed against a pillow in a side-sleeping position. If you sleep primarily on your side, look at nasal pillow or smaller nasal masks designed with side sleep in mind.

Is the FitLife safe if I have a pacemaker or implanted device?

The FitLife Total Face has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you. The FitLife contains no magnets in any part of its assembly. The FDA precautionary guidance about magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and similar implanted devices does not apply to this mask. If you have an implanted medical device, ask your doctor about your specific device.

Can I breathe through my mouth with the FitLife?

The FitLife Total Face has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you. The FitLife covers both nose and mouth, so it works for mouth breathers and for people who switch between nasal and oral breathing during the night. This is one of its primary advantages over nasal and nasal pillow masks, which require mouth closure to maintain therapy effectiveness.

Can I take the Luna TravelPAP on a plane?

The FitLife Total Face has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you. The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for in-flight use, and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline if asked. A double click of the Bluetooth button turns on airplane mode. Airline policies can vary, so confirm your carrier's CPAP rules before you fly.

Does the Luna TravelPAP include a humidifier?

No. The Luna TravelPAP does not include humidification, which is part of how it stays so small and light. It also means there is no water to pack, fill, or empty on the road. If you rely on heated humidification at home and are prone to dryness, keep your home machine for nightly use and treat this one as your travel setup.

Will the Luna TravelPAP work with other masks I already own?

The FitLife Total Face has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you. It uses a standard 22 mm connection, so it works with any standard CPAP mask, including the FitLife in this bundle. No adapters or proprietary parts are needed, and the included slim tubing connects the same way your home tubing does.

What comes in the bundle?

You get the Luna TravelPAP travel CPAP machine with its slim travel tube, storage bag, three disposable filters, AC power adapter, and user and quick start guides, plus the FitLife Total Face Mask in the size you select. Together they are a complete setup, ready for your first night.

Do I need a prescription, and is the bundle FSA or HSA eligible?

Yes to both. The Luna TravelPAP is a prescription device, so a valid Rx is required, and the bundle is FSA and HSA eligible. If your prescription has lapsed, contact us and we will point you to options for renewing it.

What warranty comes with the bundle?

The Luna TravelPAP carries a 2-year machine warranty, and the FitLife carries the 90-day Philips manufacturer mask warranty, so the two are covered separately. Contact us for machine warranty support and mask warranty questions.
