Important Tips

  • Fit the Eson 2 lying down in your usual sleep position. The RollFit cushion settles and adjusts under therapy pressure, so let the machine reach your working pressure before judging whether the seal feels right.
  • If you ordered the Fit Pack, try each seal size for a full night before deciding. The right size seats snugly across the nose bridge without creating a visible gap or leaving a deep red mark by morning.
  • If you wake with leaks, try the adjacent cushion size before you tighten the headgear. Overtightening the ErgoForm headgear compresses the RollFit cushion and almost always makes leaks worse rather than better.
  • Use the VisiBlue markers during reassembly after cleaning. Match the blue cues on the cushion and elbow to confirm each component is oriented correctly before starting therapy.
  • Download the free LightTrip app and pair it with the machine over Bluetooth before your first night. The machine has no screen, so the app is where you start and stop therapy, adjust the ramp, run a mask fit check, and review your reports. The light ring on the machine shows status at a glance.
  • Rinse the cushion, headgear, and diffuser daily with warm water and mild soap, and let all parts air dry completely before reassembling. Do not put any Eson 2 components in the dishwasher or dryer.
  • Replace the RollFit cushion approximately every 3 months or sooner if you notice persistent leaks, visible cracking, or a change in softness. Replacement cushions are sold separately.
  • Check the disposable filter weekly and replace it about every 6 months. Three filters come in the box, and replacement filters are available when you run low.
  • The Luna TravelPAP meets FAA requirements for use on board (RTCA DO-160), and an official compliance letter is available to show your airline if asked. Pack the letter with the machine, and double click the Bluetooth button to switch on airplane mode before takeoff. Airline rules can vary, so confirm your carrier's policy before you fly. At your destination, the machine operates at elevations up to 7,500 feet.
  • The power supply accepts 100 to 240V, so international outlets only call for a plug adapter. For car, camper, or RV trips, the DC adapter runs the machine from a vehicle outlet, and our power solutions collection has more options for the road.

How does the RollFit seal work, and why does it help with bridge-of-nose pressure?

The RollFit is a one-piece silicone cushion designed to roll back and forth slightly on the bridge of the nose as you move during sleep. That rolling motion helps the seal adjust to small shifts in head position without breaking contact. It also distributes pressure across a wider area of the nose bridge instead of concentrating it at a single point, which reduces the redness and discomfort that fixed-position nasal cushions can cause overnight.

Which Eson 2 cushion size do I need?

The Eson 2 cushion comes in Small, Medium, and Large. If you are unsure, order the Fit Pack, which ships with all three seals so you can test each at home. The F&P myMask app also provides guided sizing before you order. One headgear fits either Small or Medium-Large head sizes as a separate selection.

Is the Eson 2 a good option for glasses wearers or side sleepers?

Yes to both. The low-profile Easy Clip frame keeps the mask narrow and below your natural sightline, so wearing glasses before sleep or during a ramp period is not blocked by the mask frame. For side sleepers, the RollFit cushion adjusts under pressure as you move, and the ErgoForm headgear self-locates high on the head, which reduces the contact area against a pillow compared to headgear that wraps lower on the skull.

Can I use the Eson 2 if I breathe through my mouth at night?

Not without an accessory. The Eson 2 covers only the nose, so mouth breathing breaks the seal and reduces therapy effectiveness. A chin strap can help keep your mouth closed if you breathe through your mouth occasionally. If you are a consistent mouth breather, a full-face or hybrid mask is a better fit.

Is the Eson 2 safe if I have a pacemaker or implanted device?

The Eson 2 Nasal has no magnets, so the FDA precaution about magnetic mask parts near implanted medical devices does not apply. If you have an implanted device, ask your doctor which mask is right for you. Fisher and Paykel Healthcare masks contain no magnets, and the Eson 2 is included in that. The FDA precautionary guidance about magnetic mask closures near pacemakers, ICDs, cochlear implants, and similar devices does not apply to this mask. If you have an implanted medical device, ask your doctor about your specific device.

How do I clean the Eson 2, and can I put it in the dishwasher?

No dishwasher. Rinse the cushion, headgear, and diffuser daily with warm water and mild soap, then allow all parts to air dry fully before reassembling. The diffuser is washable and reusable. VisiBlue cues on the components help you confirm correct orientation during reassembly.

The Luna TravelPAP carries a 2-year machine warranty, and the mask carries the 90-day Fisher and Paykel mask warranty, so the two are covered separately. Does the Luna TravelPAP have a humidifier?

Can I use a different mask with the Luna TravelPAP down the road?
