Its role is simple but important: it softens and disperses exhaled air to reduce noise and limit airflow draft, which can be noticeable to both the user and anyone nearby.
This diffuser integrates directly into the Nova Nasal frame and is washable for regular maintenance, making it easy to keep airflow performance consistent over time. Like the original diffuser, it’s intended to support a low-noise sleep environment without changing how the mask fits or feels.
The diffuser is compatible only with the Fisher & Paykel Nova Nasal mask system and should be replaced if wear, damage, or buildup begins to affect noise control or comfort. It contains no moving parts and no magnets, and it’s designed to be maintained as part of routine mask care rather than on a fixed replacement schedule.
This is not a complete mask, this is a diffuser replacement for the F&P Nova Nasal CPAP Mask.
