Mask Compatibility
The AirSense 10 is compatible with almost any CPAP mask, offering flexibility in choosing the mask that best fits your needs and preferences.
Integrated Humidification
Featuring a built-in humidifier, the AirSense 10 eliminates the need for a separate humidifier component. For enhanced humidification, consider purchasing the ClimateLineAir Heated Tube specifically designed for the AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 devices.
Use of Distilled Water
To maintain the humidifier's optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to use distilled water in the water chamber. This helps prevent mineral buildup associated with tap water.
Suitability for High Pressure Needs
The AirSense 10 is especially well-suited for individuals requiring high pressure settings in their therapy. It's capable of delivering a wide range of pressures, from 0 to 40 cmH2O, accommodating those with varying therapy needs.
Tips for Your AirFit F30 Full Face Mask
Fitting Your Mask
Disconnect the magnetic clips from the frame to fit the mask. Place the cushion under your nose, ensuring it sits comfortably against your face. Adjust the headgear straps, ensuring the mask is snug but not too tight.
Adjusting Your Mask
With the device on and blowing air, adjust the cushion for comfort under your nose. Ensure the cushion is not creased, and the headgear is not twisted. Adjust the upper or lower headgear straps to fix leaks, aiming for a comfortable seal without overtightening.
Cleaning Your Mask
Disassemble the mask for cleaning. Soak the components, except for the headgear, in warm water with mild liquid detergent, ensuring there are no air bubbles. Shake the components in the water, hand wash with a soft brush, rinse under running water, and air dry out of direct sunlight. The headgear should be cleaned weekly. Visit our cleaning solutions for CPAP products.
Reassembling Your Mask
With the ResMed logo facing outward, insert the upper headgear straps back into the frame and secure them. Attach the cushion to the frame, followed by the elbow, ensuring it clicks in place.
Safety and Care
Regularly inspect the mask for wear or damage, particularly the vent to ensure it is unobstructed to prevent rebreathing. Use the mask only when the device is on. Oxygen should be used in well-ventilated areas, and the flow turned off when not in use. Magnets in the lower headgear straps and frame should be kept at least 2" away from any active medical implant.
