ResMed Exclusive ASV & ASVAuto Modes
The clinically validated ASV algorithm in AirCurve 10 ASV constantly learns, adapts, predicts, and synchronizes with your breathing rhythm to help quickly stabilize respiration. The amount of pressure support varies depending on the patient's needs. Compulsory breaths are taken at your current spontaneous breathing rate. This bilevel machine responds to the breath in ASVAuto mode, providing Pressure Support to stabilize respiration and automatically altering the expiratory pressure to deliver the minimal pressure required to maintain upper airway patency. On a breath-by-breath basis, it assesses the status of the patient's upper airway and distributes expiratory pressure within the authorized range.
Quiet and Smart Operation
The AirCurve 10's whisper-quiet motor creates a relaxing atmosphere for you and your sleeping companion. In addition AirCurve 10 ASV has an ambient light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen based on the amount of light in the room. If you wake up in the middle of the night and need to interrupt your therapy, the screen will remain dark so your spouse isn't disturbed. The backlight on the screen likewise turns off automatically, allowing you to settle back to sleep without being disturbed.
Built-In HumidAir Humidifier
During bilevel therapy, heated humidification allows patients to sleep better and longer while avoiding dry mouth and discomfort. The HumidAir Humidifier from ResMed is built right into the AirCurve 10, making it much smaller and easier to use than other integrated humidifiers. The HumidAir humidifier on the AirCurve is easily adjustable from the device's My Options screen. You can choose from a range of humidity levels ranging from 1 to 8, with 1 being the lowest and 8 being the highest.
SmartStart and AutoStop Convenience
The SmartStart feature on the AirCurve 10 starts your sleep apnea therapy as soon as you breathe into your mask. When you take off your mask, it automatically comes to a halt after a few seconds. What could be easier than that?
Adjustable Ramp
The Ramp feature on the AirCurve 10 makes therapy more comfortable from the moment you turn it on. Ramp works by delivering lower pressures to help you fall asleep at the start of therapy, then gradually increasing pressures to your prescribed levels over time. The Ramp on the AirCurve 10 ASV can be set between 5 and 45 minutes, or it can be turned off entirely.
Slim and Heated Tube Options
ResMed's ultra-light SlimLine CPAP tubing, which is 40% lighter than traditional CPAP tubing, is included with the AirCurve 10 ASV. Upgrade to ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing in your shopping cart to maximize the capabilities of your HumidAir Humidifier.
Cimate Control with ClimateLineAir Tubing
The system's advanced Climate Control features are activated when you use ClimateLineAir Tubing with the AirCurve 10. Climate Control is an intelligent system that adjusts to changes in room temperature, pressure flow, and mask and mouth leak during sleep therapy to maintain consistent, comfortable temperatures and humidity levels. Your machine will maintain a set temperature and relative humidity at the mask during sleep with Climate Control and ClimateLineAir Tubing, reducing condensation and rainout.
Intelligent Therapy Tracking and On Screen Display
The onboard Sleep Report on the AirCurve 10 ASV is a useful tool for tracking how your therapy is developing each day. Usage hours, mask seal indicators, humidification indicators, events per hour of use, average usage hours, leak rate, average inspiratory pressure, average expiratory pressure, and AHI may all be found in the Sleep Report. More comprehensive reporting is available with the AirCurve 10 ASV, including tidal volumes, frequency of breathing, AI, CAI, minute ventilation, and more.
The SD Data Card comes pre-installed in the AirCurve 10 ASV. Furthermore, built-in wireless connections allow you and your doctor to collaborate to ensure that your therapy is moving well.
MyAir Personalized Therapy Support
ResMed's new optional online program, myAir, acts as your personal sleep coach, providing help at every stage of therapy. It allows you to track your progress and assess how well you're doing by giving you access to your therapy data. Emails or text messages might also provide you with useful information and encouragement to help you succeed. You'll stay inspired to keep going if you keep track of your accomplishments and recognize them with prizes and badges. The myAir dashboard allows patients to see their sleep data from the previous night. The dashboard is easy to comprehend and follow thanks to intuitive icons and charts.
