The ResMed AirFit F30i is an under-the-nose full face CPAP mask with a tube-up design: the cushion seals under your nose and around your mouth while the air tubing connects at the top of your head, out of your way. It is a strong choice if you breathe through your mouth or congest at night but still want minimal facial contact and the freedom to sleep in any position.

This is the silicone-cushion version of the F30i. Its UltraCompact silicone cushion is durable and fully washable; if you prefer a softer fabric feel, the AirTouch F30i uses the same frame with a ComfiSoft fabric cushion. The headgear uses magnetic clips for quick on and off (see the safety note below).

CPAP Mask Buying Guide

Clean the mask cushion daily with CPAP mask wipes to avoid oil and residue buildup.
Use a CPAP-friendly moisturizer before putting on the mask to help prevent red marks and skin irritation.
Consider adding CPAP strap covers to reduce pressure on your cheeks and prevent strap marks.
Use a UVC LED CPAP cleaner for deep sanitization of the mask, headgear, and tubing.
Wash the headgear weekly using mild soap and warm water to keep it soft and functional.
Replace the cushion every 1 month, headgear every 6 months, and the frame system every 3 months for best results.
Use a CPAP tube brush set to clean the inside of the tubing weekly and prevent bacteria buildup.
Adjust straps evenly—the mask should feel snug but never too tight. Over-tightening can damage the cushion and cause leaks.
Keep tubing out of the way by positioning it at the top of the head—perfect for active sleepers or side sleepers.
Ensure magnetic clips are aligned properly for a secure fit; avoid if you have a pacemaker or defibrillator.
If you breathe through your mouth, make sure the mask seals fully under the nose and around the mouth—adjust as needed.
Use a heated humidifier with your CPAP machine to reduce dryness and improve mask comfort.
Store the mask in a dry, dust-free place, away from sunlight, to protect the cushion and headgear.
Check your myAir app for leak reports and adjust the fit if leaks are detected during the night.
Practice fitting the mask while awake, so you’re confident in adjusting it for the best seal when you go to bed.
If you feel claustrophobic, take a few minutes to breathe with the mask on while awake to get used to the airflow and feel.
If you hear unusual noise or feel airflow leaks, check the seal around the nose and mouth and reposition if necessary.
Avoid using lotions or creams that are not CPAP-compatible, as they can degrade the cushion material.

Yes. The lower headgear clips and the frame contain magnets. The FDA issued a recall-level safety notice for masks with magnets: people with certain implanted or metallic medical devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, neurostimulators, CSF shunts, insulin pumps, aneurysm clips, stents, metallic eye implants, and similar), and anyone who sleeps close to them, should not use a mask with magnets. Keep the magnets at least 6 inches (150 mm) from such devices, and talk to your doctor or choose a magnet-free mask if this applies to you.

They share the same tube-up frame and headgear; the difference is the cushion. The AirFit F30i has an all-silicone UltraCompact cushion (durable and fully washable), while the AirTouch F30i has a softer ComfiSoft fabric cushion. Parts are interchangeable, and the frame also fits the AirFit X30i.

Cushion sizes are Small, Medium, Small Wide, and Wide; frame sizes are Small, Standard, and Large. A Fit Pack includes multiple cushion sizes so you can dial in your fit.

The AirFit F30i is rated for therapy pressures of 4 to 30 cm H2O.
