FAQs

How do I set up the Wesper before bed?

Download the Wesper app, then place the sensor on your abdomen as shown in the app instructions. It adheres directly to your skin — no bands or wires needed. The app will confirm everything is ready before you fall asleep.

What should I do the morning after the test?

Simply remove the sensor and open the Wesper app. Your data syncs automatically — no mailing anything back or extra steps required.

Can I roll over or move during the night?

Yes. Wesper tracks body position as part of the test, so natural movement during sleep is expected and won't disrupt your recording.

What does Wesper measure while I sleep?

It captures respiratory effort, airflow, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), heart rate, body position, snoring, sleep time, and skin temperature — everything needed to evaluate sleep apnea.

When will I get my results?

Results are typically ready within a few days. A sleep physician reviews your data and you'll receive a detailed report with findings and recommendations.

What if the sensor came loose overnight?

If the sensor shifted or detached, reach out to our support team. Depending on how much data was captured, we'll let you know whether a retest is needed.

What happens after I get my results?

If your results come back positive, you're in good hands. Sleeplay will send you a link to schedule a one-on-one consultation with Lilly, our licensed Respiratory Therapist, who will walk you through your results, answer any questions, and help you figure out the best path forward — whether that's starting CPAP therapy or exploring other treatment options. You won't have to navigate next steps alone.
