FAQs

How do I set up the WatchPAT ONE before bed?

Attach the wrist unit, place the finger probe on your index finger, and apply the chest sensor. Open the WatchPAT One app and follow the step-by-step instructions — it will confirm all sensors are properly placed before you start recording.

What time should I start the test?

Start the test when you're ready to go to sleep. The device will automatically detect when you fall asleep and begin recording. Just make sure all sensors are in place before you lie down.

Can I move around or get up during the night?

Yes. The WatchPAT is designed to handle normal movement. If you get up to use the bathroom or change positions, the recording won't be affected as long as the sensors stay on.

What do I do in the morning when I wake up?

Stop the test through the app. The data syncs automatically — no manual upload needed. After that, you're done. The WatchPAT ONE is disposable, so no return is required.

When will I receive my results?

Results are typically ready within 3–7 business days after your test is complete. You'll receive a detailed report including your AHI, oxygen levels, sleep stages, and snoring data, reviewed by a sleep physician.

What if a sensor fell off during the night?

If the sensors stayed on for most of the night, your test is likely still valid. If you're unsure, contact our support team and we'll review the data with you.

What happens after I get my results?

Your report will outline whether sleep apnea was detected and how severe it is. Our team can then help you take the next step — whether that's ordering a CPAP machine or connecting with a sleep specialist.
