The AirCurve 10 ST VPAP machine with the HumidAir System is a sophisticated VPAP device with five operational modes, advanced functions, and outstanding features.
VPAP ST
VPAP ST incorporates the most advanced and complex respiratory algorithms available in any spontaneous timed equipment. The machine produces inspiratory positive airway pressure and includes a backup rate to ensure that you get enough breaths per minute even if you do not breathe naturally.
Larger Pressure Range
It has a pressure range of 3-25 cm H20, which is more than that of a normal CPAP device. The VPAP ST is designed for people with central sleep apnea, who require higher air pressure than those with obstructive sleep apnea.
Ti Control
TiControl is a unique feature that enables the healthcare professional to define minimum and maximum time limitations for the inspiration phase. Early or late cycling can occur during pressure support ventilation therapy in individuals with more severe respiratory diseases. Ti Control works by preventing early and/or late cycling, allowing patients to breathe comfortably throughout their therapy.
Climate Control
The machine will supply suitable humidity and temperature settings directly to the mask throughout therapy. Climate Control is comprised of the built-in HumidAir humidifier system and the ClimateLineAir heated tube system. Climate Control is an intelligent function that can adjust to the temperature and humidity levels in the area where the device is operated. As a result, the system will maintain appropriate temperature and humidity levels for the maximum breathing comfort during the treatment.
If you notice any unexplained changes in the performance of the device, if it is making unusual sounds, if the device or the power supply are dropped or mishandled, or if the enclosure is broken, discontinue use and contact your care provider or your ResMed Service Center.
Do not open or modify the device. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Repairs and servicing should only be performed by an authorized ResMed service agent.
Always make sure that the device is turned on and airflow generated before the oxygen supply is turned on. Always turn the oxygen supply off before the device is turned off, so that unused oxygen does not accumulate within the device enclosure and create a risk of fire.
Blocking the air tubing and/or air inlet of the device while in operation could lead to overheating of the device.
