The Monaghan AeroVent Plus Collapsible Holding Chamber (CHC) is specifically intended to be inserted in the inspiratory limb of a ventilator circuit without any extra flow. By keeping a closed circuit, it reduces the risk of nosocomial infection. This 155cc inhaler chamber provides for maximal plume formation and aerosol availability. By directing the aerosol jet into the mainstream of the inspiratory flow, the aerosol delivery is improved while technique error is reduced
