The SoClean 2 Filter Cartridge converts activated oxygen back to regular oxygen as it leaves the SoClean 2 chamber, and the check valve prevents water from your CPAP from damaging the SoClean's electronics.

Filter and Check Valve changes are an essential step to keep your SoClean 2 Cleaning Device functioning at its best and your health in check.

Filter and Check Valve Replacement Made Easy

The Filter and Check Valve should be replaced every six months. 

Remove the old Filter from inside the chamber, pull it up and out, and discard it in the trash. Remove all protective plastic and tape from the new Filter (black particles may appear on the Filter; you may simply wipe down.) Place the new Filter into the SoClean.

Disconnect the tubing from both sides by pulling the tubing away and out. It may be necessary to use a twisting motion. The direction of your new Check Valve is critical; it must be installed facing the right direction, which is signaled by a label with two arrows that point towards your CPAP. 

Resetting your device should be done after the replacement is complete. Press and hold the "Manual" and "Hour Glass" buttons simultaneously until you see a smiley face appear on display.

It also includes a slot plug to detect your tubing and the pre-wash neutralizer used for washing all your equipment before placing inside the chamber. You may select to manually activate the cleaning system or pre-determined a time for the cycle to begin and set it to automatic. 

The cleaning cycle lasts 2 hours. The red, yellow, and green light system indicates the cleaning stage. It is recommended to replace the filters every six months and make sure there is no residual moisture in your valve.

• This kit is suitable for all SoClean 2 and SoClean 2 Go machines. It is NOT compatible with SoClean 1 devices.
