The SoClean 2 Filter Cartridge converts activated oxygen back to regular oxygen as it leaves the SoClean 2 chamber, and the check valve prevents water from your CPAP from damaging the SoClean's electronics.
Filter and Check Valve changes are an essential step to keep your SoClean 2 Cleaning Device functioning at its best and your health in check.

Remove all protective plastic and tape from the new Filter-black particles may appear on the Filter-you may simply wipe down. Place the new Filter into the SoClean. Disconnect the tubing from both sides by pulling the tubing away and out. It may be necessary to use a twisting motion. The direction of your new Check Valve is critical, it must be installed facing the right direction, which is signaled by a label with two arrows that point towards your CPAP. Resetting your device should be done after the replacement is complete. Press and hold the MANUAL and HOURGLASS buttons simultaneously until you see a smiley face appear on display.
