It is designed with a cushion under the nose to create a consistent seal all night while providing airflow to both nostrils without actually inserting into them or exerting any excess pressure. It also gives a full field of vision to read or watch TV before falling asleep.
On the cushion of the nasal mask, there is an exhalation port. The nasal cushion of the DreamWear mask has a small rectangular slot that allows air to escape from the nostrils.
To attach the cushion, align the arrow on the front with the arrow on the frame and push the two together until they click into place, then repeat for the other side. Check that the arrow on the cushion corresponds to the arrow on the frame, as the cushion will not function correctly if it is not properly connected to the frame. By drawing the ends away from the frame, the cushion can be removed.
