It is a nasal mask: the cushion sits over your nose, not inside the nostrils like pillows and not over the mouth. It uses ResMed's InfinitySeal cushion, which adapts to a wide range of facial shapes.

Does it contain magnets, and who should not use it?

Yes. The AirFit N20 has magnetic headgear clips. ResMed advises keeping the magnets at least 6 inches (150 mm) from implanted devices. Do not use it if you, or anyone in close contact while you wear it, has a pacemaker, defibrillator, neurostimulator, CSF shunt, certain metallic implants, or other devices affected by magnets, without first consulting your doctor.

What cushion sizes does it come in?

The cushion comes in Small, Medium, and Large (the size is printed on the cushion base). The AirFit N20 For Her offers smaller sizes and a smaller headgear.

Will it work for mouth breathers?

On its own, no. It is a nasal mask that seals over the nose, so if you breathe through your mouth at night you would need a chin strap or a full face mask instead.

What pressure range does it support?

It supports therapy pressures from 4 to 30 cm H2O, so it works across a wide range of CPAP, APAP, and BiPAP settings.

What comes in the box?

The complete system includes the frame, one cushion, the headgear, and the elbow with the short tube. A prescription is required to purchase it.
