Everything you need to know about the AirFit F10

Ideal for Mouth Breathers

The AirFit™ F10 is ideal for mouth-breathers, those who suffer from nasal obstructions or frequent congestion due to allergies or cold symptoms, or those who haven't found success with a nasal mask. Some claustrophobic patients also seem to favor the full face mask. The full-face mask is also suitable for high CPAP pressure settings because the mask's wide surface area makes it feel as if the pressure is more tolerable and less direct than with other masks. Works well for back sleepers, as the supine position is best for an optimal air seal.

SoftEdge™ Headgear

ResMed's innovative headgear supports the AirFit™ F10 without the need for forehead support. The flexible and breathable headgear delivers ultimate comfort and freedom of movement. Your mask will stay in place, providing extra comfort and support to active sleepers. The SoftEdge™ Headgear technology maintains a reliable seal without pulling the strap too tight, reducing pressure points around the face. The seamless rounded edges can be adjusted at the upper and lower attachments of the mask frame. AirFit™ F10 Full Face Mask comes packaged with the size Standard headgear.

Spring Air™ Cushion

The AirFit™ F10 is a lightweight and easy-to-use full-face mask that barely makes contact with the face and protects the skin from marks and irritations commonly caused by CPAP masks. The dual wall design of Spring Air™ Technology reduces facial pressure and increases the seal of the cushion, and the inner wall supports the seal of the outer wall, which inflates with air pressure: this means complete comfort without the leaks. The cushion of the AirFit™ F10 can be replaced to extend the life of the mask.

Balanced Seal for Mouth Breathers

This full-face mask is a solid option if you breathe through your mouth or experience nasal congestion. The wide cushion spreads pressure evenly, helping maintain a secure seal—even at higher pressures or while sleeping on your back.

SoftEdge™ Headgear for a Gentle Fit

The headgear is soft against your skin and adjusts easily to stay in place without overtightening. Its rounded edges help prevent facial marks, and the design allows you to move at night without losing the seal.

Spring Air™ Cushion Technology

The dual-wall cushion combines a firm inner layer with a softer outer layer that inflates gently. This design supports airflow while reducing irritation on your nose and cheeks, especially during longer therapy sessions.

Minimal Parts, Easy to Manage

With only four parts, the AirFit F10 is quick to disassemble and clean. It’s a low-maintenance setup that's easy to pack and reassemble, making it convenient for both home use and travel.

Clear View, No Forehead Support

The mask’s low-profile frame avoids your forehead, giving you a clear line of sight. You can read, watch TV, or wear glasses comfortably before sleep without feeling boxed in.

Quick-Release Elbow for Convenience

You can disconnect from your CPAP tubing with one hand using the quick-release elbow. It’s an easy way to step away without removing your entire mask or adjusting your setup.

Quiet Venting System

Exhaled air is released through a circular diffuser that softens noise and directs airflow away from you and anyone nearby. It helps create a more restful sleep environment in shared rooms.

Compact and Lightweight Build

Lighter than many full-face options, the AirFit F10 feels less bulky while still delivering effective therapy. Its smaller frame makes it easier to get used to, especially if you're new to CPAP.

Frame and Cushion Options

You can pair the frame with different cushion sizes to keep your fit comfortable as your needs change. Replacing just the cushion extends the mask’s lifespan without needing a full replacement.

What’s Included

While this product includes the essential mask and headgear components, you'll still need to purchase a CPAP machine and hose to complete your therapy setup

Important Tips

  • Avoid overtightening the headgear—the cushion is designed to seal with low pressure. Tightening too much can cause red marks or discomfort.
  • Clean the cushion and frame daily with CPAP Soap, rinse well, and allow all parts to air dry fully.
  • Use CPAP Mask Wipes between washes, especially if you’re short on time or traveling.
  • Wash the headgear weekly with warm water and mild soap. Let it air dry completely before the next use.
  • Replace the mask cushion monthly, and the frame and headgear every 3–6 months. You can track replacements using our CPAP Mask finder.
  • If you're unsure about mask fit or are new to therapy, take the Mask Finder Quiz to explore other full-face mask options.
  • Add Snugell CPAP Strap Covers to reduce pressure on your cheeks and prevent red lines.
  • Apply CPAP Moisturizer to avoid dryness and irritation around the nose and mouth area.
  • Use the CPAP Cleaning Brush Set to keep your tubing and mask elbow free of buildup.
  • For added comfort and stability at night, especially if you're a side sleeper, try a CPAP Pillow with cutouts for your mask.
  • Make sure your CPAP hose is not pulling on your mask—secure it to the headboard or nightstand for more freedom of movement.
  • Pair the mask with a trusted CPAP machine and use a heated tube or humidifier to prevent dry mouth and nasal irritation.
  • If condensation builds up in your tube (rainout), use Climate Control settings or raise your hose with a tubing lift to reduce moisture.
  • Store your mask in a clean, dry place when not in use, and keep it away from direct sunlight to avoid material wear.

Find Out Now!

What is a CPAP full face mask?

A full-face CPAP mask covers both the nose and mouth, making it ideal for people who breathe through their mouth or experience nasal congestion.

Are full-face masks uncomfortable to sleep in?

While full-face masks are bulkier than nasal masks, modern designs are lightweight and feature soft cushions for a comfortable fit. Adjusting your headgear properly can improve comfort.

Can I sleep on my side with a full-face mask?

Yes, but side sleepers may need to adjust their pillow positioning or use a CPAP-friendly pillow to avoid mask displacement.

How often should I replace my CPAP full-face mask?

The cushion should be replaced every 1-3 months, and the entire mask should be replaced every 6 months.
