It is compatible with the ResMed AirSense 11, AirSense 10, and AirMini, and runs for 1 to 2 nights at an average pressure with the humidifier and heated tubing turned off.

If the power goes out overnight, your machine draws from the Pilot-24 Lite without any interruption to your therapy, so it works as a true backup (an uninterruptible power supply).
