Important Tips
  • Replace the filter every 6 months or sooner if it appears dirty to maintain optimal airflow and device efficiency.
  • Check the filter monthly for dust buildup or discoloration, indicating it’s time for a change.
  • Keep spare filters on hand to ensure quick and easy replacements without interrupting your therapy.
  • Handle the filter with clean hands to avoid transferring oils and dirt, which can reduce its effectiveness.
  • Ensure the filter is properly seated in the machine to avoid air leaks and maintain effective filtration.
  • If you have pets or live in a dusty environment, consider more frequent filter changes to keep your therapy air clean.
  • Monitor your CPAP and BiPAP machine’s performance; unusual noise or airflow issues might indicate a clogged filter needing replacement.
  • DO NOT leave any cables connected to the Pilot battery. Any cables left connected to the battery will drain the charge.
  • This battery is compatible with ResMed machines ONLY. If you own a Dreamstation machine please use the Pilot 12.
