The Transcend Micro 510 weighs 0.48 lbs and measures 3.6 x 3.6 x 2.4 inches. Pressure range covers 4 to 20 cmH₂O in both CPAP and Auto-CPAP modes. The Vitera covers both the nose and mouth, making it suitable for sleep apnea patients who breathe through the mouth during the night or experience frequent nasal congestion. Unlike nasal or nasal pillow masks, it maintains therapy regardless of whether breathing shifts between nasal and oral during sleep.

The RollFit XT is a flexible cushion that adapts dynamically as you move during sleep. It adjusts to facial contours and movement without breaking the seal, reducing air leaks toward the eyes and pressure on the nasal bridge. In an internal 41-participant trial, 93% of users rated stability equal to or better than their previous mask.

In the same internal study conducted in the United States in 2017, 90% of participants rated the Vitera equal to or more comfortable than their current mask, and 88% reported sleeping in their preferred position throughout the entire night. Both figures come from a 41-person internal trial and should be considered alongside your own fitting experience.

The Vitera headgear comes in two sizes: small and medium-large. Cushion seals, headgear, clips, elbow, swivel, and frame are all sold separately as replacement parts. The seal is the component that typically needs the most frequent replacement. Headgear clips and the removable forehead clip are also available individually.

Beneath the RollFit XT cushion, a rigid stability bar provides structural support that keeps the cushion properly positioned against the face during movement. This separation between flexible cushion and rigid support allows the seal to adapt to movement while the frame stays in place, reducing mask displacement for active sleepers with sleep apnea.

The Vitera uses VisiBlue, a color-coded marking system on key connection points that identifies correct assembly orientation during daily setup and cleaning. This reduces handling errors when reassembling multiple components after washing, a common issue with full face masks that have more parts than nasal interfaces.

In Auto-CPAP mode, the Transcend Micro 510 continuously adjusts delivery pressure based on breathing patterns throughout the night. This is particularly useful for sleep apnea patients using a full face mask, where pressure requirements can vary depending on sleep position and whether breathing is nasal or oral at any given point.

The AirMist HME attaches between the hose and mask, capturing moisture from exhaled breath and returning it on the next inhale. No distilled water or water chamber needed. Each cartridge lasts 5 to 7 nights. Note that HME compatibility with full face masks depends on elbow and connection type — confirm fit before first use.

The Transcend Micro 510 operates at 27 dBA under typical use conditions. The included WhisperSoft Muffler attaches to the air outlet and reduces exhaust noise further. The Vitera also includes a structured frame that keeps airflow directed away from the face, contributing to a quieter sleep environment during therapy.

The AC adapter supports universal voltage input (100–240 VAC), suitable for international travel. The machine has no built-in battery. The Transcend Micro PowerAway Battery is available separately and delivers up to 17.5 hours of therapy per charge, covering long-haul flights, camping, or situations without reliable AC power access.

The Transcend Micro 510 is FAA compliant and approved for use during flights. A compliance letter is available for download at mytranscend.com. Sleep apnea patients who need therapy on long-haul flights can bring the machine as carry-on. Confirming with your airline before travel is still recommended as policies vary by carrier.

The Transcend Micro 510 connects via Bluetooth to the MySleepDash app on iOS and Android. The app tracks nightly therapy hours, leak summaries, and pressure data. For full face mask users, leak data is particularly useful for identifying fit issues with the Vitera cushion or headgear tension. Data can be shared directly with a physician.

GentleRise starts therapy at a lower pressure than the prescribed setting and gradually increases to full therapeutic pressure over a period of up to 45 minutes. For full face mask users new to sleep apnea therapy, this reduces the initial sensation of high airflow pressure against the face while falling asleep.

AirRelief lowers delivery pressure slightly on each exhale, reducing resistance during exhalation. Four settings are available: OFF, 1, 2, and 3. Full face mask users often find higher AirRelief settings more comfortable, since exhaling against continuous pressure through both nose and mouth simultaneously can feel more restrictive than with nasal interfaces.

The Transcend Micro 510 carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty from date of purchase. Accessories including hoses, mufflers, HME adapters, cases, and filters are covered for 90 days. The Vitera mask and its replacement components follow Fisher & Paykel's own warranty terms. Using non-Transcend parts on the machine voids the Transcend warranty.
