So Clean AirSense 10 adapter demonstrates failure in manufacturing. The softer plastic that girds the inner hard plastic rim is only tacked to the centers of the four sides. It is not firmly affixed all the way round like ResMed makes its well toppers. I returned and got a replacement because the air pressure leaked out of the back, and my CPAP fought loudly to attain pressure. I tried to remedy the problem with superglue before returning the adapter for a replacement after self-fixing didn’t work.
When I got a replacement adapter today, again there was no attempt made by the manufacturer to affix the entire perimeter of the soft plastic the the hard inner riml.. So far, the compression of the closed lid isn’t noisily leak air pressure—but for how long with it be before air pressure blows the seal?
it’s sad So Clean is sell a substandard product compared to how ResMed makes its well-toppers. Maybe it’s time to consider investigate what SoClean’s competitors make. There is zero valid rationale for failing to affix the inner seal round the entire perimeter hard plastic rim—none.
