This easy-to-use device utilizes photoelectric oxyhemoglobin technology for accurate readings. Simply clip the fingertip oximeter onto your finger and get a quick reading on the built-in display.
Ensure the pulse oximeter is placed on your finger correctly. It should fit snugly but not too tight. Typically, the index or middle finger of your right hand provides the most accurate readings. Make sure the finger is clean and warm for the best results.
Try to remain still while taking a reading. Movement can disrupt the sensors and lead to inaccurate results. Wait for the device to stabilize, which is usually indicated by a steady reading on the display.
Low battery power can affect device accuracy. Make sure your pulse oximeter has fresh batteries or is fully charged if it's rechargeable. Replace or recharge batteries as indicated by the device's low battery warning.
