The water reservoir holds very little, and has to be replaced much more often than this machine's predecessor (which was recalled). Additionally, the reservoir lid is very cheap and hooks with a cumbersome plastic piece. The hose must be inserted upside down, which makes it awkward as well. I'm not a fan, and much preferred the original DreamStation. I feel this was poorly designed.
The dreamstation 2 is simple to use. It is smaller than the dreamstation 1 and lighter in weight.
Good machine. Humidifier doesn't seem to work as expected - plate under water reservoir doesn't get warm and changing settings doesn't do anything.
The unit works perfectly for me. Wife is happy with how quiet it is. (no more complaining about CPAP noise. With my other CPAP machine she would get up and go sleep on the couch.)
